- If you're wondering this is gameplay of Lambda Fortress, a TF2 mod. It does tend to crash a lot. Also I still have some leftover footage so might make another, shorter, video like this.

@@waltuh11121 The mercenaries don't even fight back, they're just friendly the whole time but they still out-endure the entire Combine empire
Thats why Badlands were never attacked by Combine, they were so afraid of them
Imagine you’re a hl2 citizen, your talking to a couple metro cops in an alley, and three weird looking Russians come in with their fists out like they’re going to box with somebody, and then just punch the crap out of them and leave.
The comedic timing on some of the voice clips and taunts was perfect. My favorites were the heavy saying Oh no! When you were knocked out and Demo doing the Woo! When getting teleported

this would be amazing if you could get 8 other people to play with you so there’s only one of each class including you so it implies all of the mercs just somehow end up in the hl2 universe and help the rebels fight the combine

i've played the mod it is super fun
The non hud version of the fists looked fun at first.
But when you saw the heavy thumbs up when cheering, that's when it became amazing.
TF2 Classic modded the models and animations for classes to wield different class weapons.
Would be interesting seeing that addition to this.
you can actually have that non-hud weapons in regular tf2 by putting "cl_firstperson_usesworldmodel 1" or smth like that in console

So portal tf2 halflife is in the same universe and the combine never attacked 2 fort because its already in chaos

its not a mod. there's a console command option i cant remember rn but it makes your worldmodel your viewmodel; it was meant for an experimental vr version years ago
It's a console command: cl_firstpersonusesworldmodel_1 or something similar

Lambda Fortress: Extended is buggy and crashes too much. I suggest Lambda Fortress: Community Edition instead as it fixes a lot of bugs and adds new content
