    The intro about upstairs neighbours makes me feel more understood than most things or people have in this life. And I do feel for you, mate! Never getting yourself into a rental situation like that is a lesson that is learned in a very cruel, sleep-robbing and stress-inducing way.
    The Quieton3 are on sale at a local retailer at the moment and I had been looking for reviews periodically for quite a while. Finally found one that I feel I can fully trust and guess what, it saves me a humongous amount of money! (The local retailer is an audio store, so they even have a no returns policy for earbuds..) Thanks again!

    Thank you for the review. Most of reviews on youtube are sponsored by company and all say it's good. Like you said, I better until BOSE make something similar with same function, just cut all other functions, make it small and comfortable with wider range of noice canceling coverage... no need bluethooth, no need white noise, no need alram what so ever, just make it quiet.
    Maybe need to wait another decades? If there's any product with this size with BOSE level noise canceling, I will be happy to pay 500$.

    I bought them a couple of months ago, and I completely agree with everything you said. And being that I wasn’t able to return them, I tried something that changed a lot how they work. I don’t know if you already tried it, but like you, for me the confortable ear tip was the medium size, but I found out that using a bigger one wasn’t as confortable but was blocking the noise better, and was helping the mild ANC to work better. Curiously this wasn’t the only solution they didn’t tell me to try. I contacted them saying that they were working just like a cheap foam plugs, just like you said in the video, because it was exactly how they felt. But after changing the ear tips it makes sense to use them now, and it’s the best option for sleeping I found so far (but still far from perfect). I hope this works for you too!

    Hey I had a similar issue when I found your video, but I've since found a different solution. There is a pillow called "original pillow with a hole" where there is a space in the pillow for your ear. It allows you to sleep with noise cancelling earphones on comfortably. Last night my lovely upstairs neighbour was making a racket as per usual, but the Bose earphones cut out all the noise and the pillow allowed me to sleep on my side. If you're still in this situation it would be worth trying as it's worked perfectly for me! The pillow with a hole 2 is a bit bigger and the best one to go for I think. Hope this helps!

    • @DarkStoneCastle
      @DarkStoneCastle  9 місяців тому +2

      Several months ago, I did end up trying 3 different pillows with holes in them. One of them was the "original pillow with a hole" That one was smaller and decent. But I preferred this one: amzn.to/47JAFkX. I use it every night to get me to midnight, then I take the headphones off (usually wake up several times a night... the first time being around midnight) and use my normal feather pillow with a fan on my night stand creating some white noise to drown out any small noises from outside. This setup has been working fairly well for me. I'll be out of this apartment in a month...never, never again will I rent with somebody over me.

    Thanks for the great review, that product is such a waste of money. I use Howard Leights 32db NRR disposable earplugs. Before this, I tried buying a noise cancelling headphones used in industrial setting with an MP3 player, but since I'm also a side sleeper, I hemmed my pillow, made a hole in the middle to fit the headphone while I'm on my side, that didn't work, wasted a pillow, gave away the headphones. Then I just stucked with the earplugs and while that is on my ear, also tried listening to brown noise in my ipod with the small earphones in my ear on top of the earplugs, but it kept getting off, so I bought a sleep headband online. Worked for awhile, but its speaker thou a bit thin, hurts my hears in the middle of the night, so it's also a no go. Atm just using earplugs and have developed insomnia because of kitchen noise beside my room at 4am. I bought another earphone from Temu, a wireless one that's like the shape of a hook that that can just be put in the ear without the plugs, so I hope that works, i'll see in 3 weeks when it gets delivered.

    I own both the Quieton's 3.1 as well as the Bose sleepbuds. I am a real consumer - this is not some fake review. At the beginning, the noise cancelling feature worke really well. The Quieton's are not as comfortable as Bose, but I forced myself to get used to them. Four months after I purchased the Quieton's, the sound cancelling feature stopped working making the product useless. After a long six week waiting period, Quieton replaced the earbuds. Guess what, four months later, the same thing happened the noise cancelling failed. Changing the foam earpieces did not do anything. Quieton refused to do anything saying their liability is limited to the cost of the earbuds. I was entitled to just this one replacement and they were not standing by their product. Tough luck. $300 out the window.

    The problen is that fundamentaly it is impossible to cancel literaly ALL noice, and on the same time makes the side sleeper fell like nothing on their ear, but those earplugs at least is the most suitable that I have benn tryed
    The noice problem even make me to focus more on how to get more money so eventually some day on the future I can escape from all these noice shit and be able to have a quiet life

    how is the ANC compared to the apple air pods pro?

    • @DarkStoneCastle
      @DarkStoneCastle  Рік тому +1

      Don't know, never used Apple air pods, but I hear they are of similar quality to the bose so I would think it's safe to say the Air pods have way better ANC over the Quieton 3.1.

      Airpods pro are bad. I have a Bose QC15 probably almost 13-15 yrs old and they are awesome. Airpods pro hardly do anything. I have hyperacusis and tinnitus. So I have some unfortunate experience. I bought them for my mum and tried them first. I also get a weird feeling I don’t get from the Bose headphones. They are like an A+ and airpods pro are F. (If anything)

    Not sure why you had such a bad experience, I received my QuietOn 3.1 a few days ago and it's been an absolute life saver. Hopefully you get some relief from the neighbour situation.

    I have the Bose quiet comfort II earbuds (220$) , I have the huge Sony wh-m1000xm4 (360$) and I've just paid 300$ (incl VAT) for these quieton 3 and I must say these are the worst ANC earbuds I bought. Even the soundcore liberty 4NC are far better. The only good quality I see in the quiteOn 3 is their very thin profile. you can really sleep on your side but you hear everything. Every bit of snore ! Dont get me wrong. The foam tips seal very good . (You can hear your voice from the chest). But a simple 2$ silicone swimming ear plugs will do the same noise cancelling job.

    Thanks for the review. I think I have found a solution that has the best of both worlds. They make pillows with holes in the center that can be used with ANC earbud like airpods pro, bose, etc. I wanted to let you know since I definitely felt your pain in this video

      Hmmmmm…pillows with holes in the middle…sounds interesting…I’ll have to do some research on that…although I’m picky about my pillows…gotta be feather…preferably goose down. Thanks for the comment.

    They are so expensive too. Do yourself a solid guys. Soundcore sleep a10 doesn't have noise cancelling but the passive nc is decent and you can play media through them

    I ordered these “noise cancellation” ear buds on January 29, 2023. They didn’t cancel out snoring sounds; the exact reason that I needed them. Thank God I opened the package before the return date had expired. I made the mistake of calling the company (in Finland) 😱which increased my phone bill by $20. I was given extensive instructions on how to return the product, which I followed just as extensively.
    I paid the shipping to Finland via USPS which was approximately $18.00. I had to wait for the package to clear customs and be received by Quieton. On March 30, I received an email from Quieton stating; “unfortunately customs is returning the earbuds” to me! (No explanation was ever given for this error). I was told that when I received the package, I should notify the company and then I would receive a FedEx return label.
    I received the package from customs on April 11.
    I notified the company that I had received the package that same day.
    I received the FedEx shipping label
    on April 27, and shipped the package to Finland on April 30. On May 15, 2023, my account was credited for the purchase price of the earbuds. The entire time period from purchase to return credit was almost 4 months. It would be helpful for the company to inform the customer that product returns must be shipped to Finland and that the customs process takes a long time.
    I hope this helps if you’re thinking about purchasing this product.

    A wildly mid product provided by an absolute joke of a company. I decided to give these a try because it seemed like they could help drown out a new noisy neighbor and snoring partner who were keeping me up all night. Turns out a $10 8-pack of reusable/moldable silicone earplugs from Amazon work 20x better than these. Anyways, it took Quieton nearly 3 weeks to initially ship my order, and only did when I opened a PayPal claim after they refused to cancel my order. I tried the product and was not at all impressed and decided to return them 1.5 weeks after actually getting them. Quieton made the process excruciating, and wanted me to do endless amounts of troubleshooting even though I made it clear they were working, I just didn't like them (this is apart of their advertised 30 Day Return policy). Their next move to prevent you from returning them is by making you pay out of pocket to ship them back to Sweden, even though the product ships from the US. It cost me an additional $40 just to send them back. They sat in International shipping limbo for over a month, and even after they received them they waited 2 additional weeks before responding to my email asking how long it would take for them to process it. I'm only getting my money back because PayPal closed the claim on my favor. These sound like a great and innovative product on paper, but honestly they're not even worth the $40 I spent to return them. Quieton is a dishonest company that doesn't care about their customers. Please avoid this product/company at all costs.
