It is quite disappointing that they scrapped the 365's. They were fine units, and they could have preserved some of them for railtours, and converted them back to dual-voltage.
Class 142 Pacer Northern & Class 365 Happy (Train) Great Northern are at that Place so they can Live Away from the Scrapyard since their Clones were Sadly Scrapped after they’re Withdrawn

I agree. They could have converted a few back to dual voltage and sent some back to Southeastern, or maybe somewhere else.
The 365s were not true “dual voltage” units. And when the entire fleet ended up at Great Northern, they were converted to AC only.
@@bfapple That's true, only 16 of them had third rail shoes, but as you say when they went to GN they had them removed.

Yes thankfully these have been preserved. I know a few other preserved railways have also got some 142 units as well
