i have no idea how this works but if i have to guess: -having that covenant somehow lets you do extra stuff on your turn -because of the covenant you can change into the bow who will hit 4 times and then swap back to the main weapon -i was told using items will not advance the turn so you are using that to buff yourself up before doing anything -i got that armor but don't see it in my inventory, i could not even read what it did, just could read crit % up for a few secs before it disapeared. -i don't know how the help shows up there, im stuck in that fight and don't have anyone there to help me, also the boss 1 shots me at dif0 cycle 6
Grit, use grit or requiem. Another thing, The Duchess' covenant just gives you an extra turn, the compensation for it is -50% speed; the covenant doesn't have anything to do with the bow. Upgrading JubJub's bow to the max allows you to hit 4 random enemies--in this case The Deep Sea Knight. He also switches to the sword of giants to dish out more damage when the arrows land. Btw, some items that apply ailments to the target enemy will take a turn, read the item card before using it. If you need me to explain anything else, then feel free to ask here
Equipping it makes you attack two random enemies. He equips the bow to get that effect, uses items to buff, switches to the giant sword for the huge attack it has, guards, and lets the free attacks from the bow do the damage
@@dannozzeri still don’t get it srry if i’m sped. but don’t you have do an action with the weapon last equipped to get the buff?? and even then wouldn’t hans gun work better?

Why do you switch to the JubJub bow just to use items? I'm still pretty new to BS2 and haven't really gotten a good grasp of weapon swapping yet.
