Yuji Nishida (西田 有志, Nishida Yūji, born 30 January 2000) is a Japanese left-handed volleyball player. Currently Nishida plays for Panasonic Panthers at club level.
Nishida made his debut with JTEKT Stings at V.League on 6 January 2018 in a match against Osaka Blazers Sakai. His impressive debut at the young age of 17 soon earned him a position in JTEKT's Starting 6,[5] as well as Japan men's national volleyball team. Nishida led the national team to seventh place at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, its best result in 29 years.
The Japan men's national volleyball team (Japanese: 男子バレーボール日本代表) represents Japan in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches, governed by Japan Volleyball Association.
Their nickname is "RYUJIN NIPPON (龍神 NIPPON)", meaning "Japanese Dragon God" or "Dragon God of Japan" in Japanese.

@@sheeeezzzzjay40 omg, I know right?! It's so infuriating to see that. Both Nishida and Miyaura lift each other up and in healthy rivalry, the fans just trying to make it toxic like wtf.
I know it must be frustrated for fans to watch Nishida commited errors thorough VNL2023, but i'm pretty sure he's the one who most frustrated to himself.

in this match the performance of the Nippon trio (Yuki, Nishida, Ran) really exploded! The favorite part is when Ran cheats the opponent's block by passing the ball to Nishida!

@@sheeeezzzzjay40 Exactly, I am Miyaura's fan but thanks to Yuji I have known Japanese team and other players. He had some tough times at the past but he is back more stronger. Every players deserve respect and love. As you said, they give their best for only one team but some people doesnt want to see this truth, they are just comparing the players instead of supporting them. I hope that One day they will understand.

IM SO PROUD AND HAPPY NISHIDA YUJI FINALLY BACK TO HIS POWERFUL SELF HE'S SEEMS LIKE GETTING BETTER THEN BEFORE
Yuji has improved his technique quite a lot. He still gets blocked quite often but at least he has committed fewer service errors and diversified his attacks. I even saw him do a pipe attack during the egypt match!

Well, i wouldn't say Japan will be nowhere without him. There are a lot of key player that is notable as well. However, his left hand serve and wicked rotation is one of the unique quirks that enable Japan to form a lot of playing style, same with Miyaura

You should change your channel name to Asian Power Volleyball cause majority of your vids are Japan or Thailand. Im a fan of both but there are other great and exciting teams as well
because the show is watched more often. both teams are very popular in volleyball championships, both in Asia and other continents. Moreover, the Japanese team is very popular considering that many are fans of Ran, Yuki, Nishida and also Miyaura.
@@herviadinda_1208 Nah it's cap, Polish team gets more views in Poland than Japan on any social media. Last final was had around 7 million views in all TV channels. But Poles do not care about international sites like this one because their native ones are way better. By the way look up to which country holds the record of attendance in a volleyball men's match.

日本のブロックが全然機能していない。ストレートか、クロスかを読んで手の位置を移動させて止めなければいけない。ブロックのタイミングが悪いし、両手を強くプッシュしないと吸い込みか、弾き飛ばされてブロックアウトになる。石川選手の強打が決まらない。だから、フェイントを多投していた。こんな事では勝負にならない。これからも打点の高い強打と高いブロックに苦しめられるだろう。今日は運よく強打をレシーブで拾えたから反撃できた。日本はレシーブを拾って反撃するのが生命線である。サーブもネットにかかったり、アウトになるケースが多い。もっと、精度を上げないといけない。もっと高くジャンプしてスパイクサーブを打たないといけない。コートの角から対角線上に撃てば重いサーブとなり、アウトにならないからレシーブがセッターへは返らない。魂を込めたサーブとスパイクで勝利を掴め。
