i’ve known this for quite a long time but yuji is really one of nippon’s teamwork foundation,,, he energizes his teammates, checks, motivates and encourages them 🥺 so cute how he called ogawa when the latter was walking away from their huddle 😆
but do you know why ? It's because #14 and #12 not playing... That is why he is firing now, but when the other 2 play, the setter will set them more, and so #1 will score less and maybe he will get block more often since he won't be on fire like now...
@@majestytd nah hes just better now than last season when he was injured. that's the only reason. sekita is distributing attacks well, that's why opp, oh, and middles are clocking in good stats. nishida isn't the only one getting points.
I really love watching Japan play..i don't know why but their presence and energy makes me happy. Nishida,Ishikawa,Sekita,Onodera,Furuzawa, Yamamoto, my OG, and then comes Ran and Miyaura, and now Kai.. Japan always produces great players..
Akihiro might be their captain but Yuji is their energizer. Being a senior national team player despite being young himself, he probably decided to share some of leader responsibility. I love seeing him encouraging other team members during the match. I believe he can be a good captain one day.
Japan have increased their squad depth now. They can play Miyaura and Nishida at the same time. Kai and Otsuka are on the rise. Ogawa can share playtime with Yamamoto. Kentaro can also fill in for Yamauchi/Onodera. Even without Ishikawa and Ran, they have run through their matches so far.
Japan always surprised us in every way! Their team is expanding and getting stronger! Nishida’s receive has improved so remarkable. Looking forward for Ishikawa and Ran to back on court ❤

Kai is a great Addition for Team Japan. He got Height and power. JAPAN is indeed the best Transition team and the best Defensive team. They probably reserve their usual starters for OLYMPICS but these second stringers are not just reserve they are sweeping games. So happy to see Kai getting his time to shine this VNL. He didn’t get much play time last year but it looks like his confidence has definitely grown. He’s doing so well for how young he is. I’m so excited to see where he will go from here.
This is my speculation, but I think he might play more once Yuki and Ran joined the team. From my observation, Yuji participate a lot in both offense and defense while Miyaura focus more on offense. So, when Yuki and Ran joined the team, both of them will add up the team's defense. That way, Miyaura can focus on their offense. But as I said above, this is just my speculation. I might be wrong.
@@sujudiehardfan I think for the later stage of the tournament and possibly the olympics Japan is gonna use a double sub to swap out both setter and oppo. That way you can an oppo in front court for more time of the match (you only get 6 substituitions per match so you can only do this twice). I think they might let Miyaura play some matches to let Nishida rest but with how Nishida is performing I don't see them having Miyaura start.
@@LucalaurinMiyaura played alot last season because Nishida is not in his great shape. And Miyaura did a very great job in Nishida’s place. He contributed alot and a game changer. These two are great, whoever will play will be an excellent contributor.
Miyaura is shining in last season VNL, He is amazing left handed spikers, good for offense and services. But i always wondering why can't they playing at the same time even Ran & Yuki weren't playing in starting team? Yeah i know Yuji & Miyaura are left handed outside, but isn't it fascinating watching them play together?

yamauchi is nishida's captain for the panasonic panthers. I'd argue that ishikawa is still better but yamauchi definitely pulling his weight

石川と高橋藍がいないことで、関田のトス配分がミドルブロッカーにも増えたから相手はブロックしにくくなっている。それによって石川、高橋抜きでも勝てている。更に言えば、新戦力の甲斐が安定したプレーを見せていて、富田も相手に臆することなくスパイクを打てている。
また、なぜかは分からないが日本のプレイヤー全員、特に山内のブロック能力がかなり上がっている。

本当に自他認める強豪国になりましたね。柳田、石川世代ぐらいから高校・大学バレーのレベルが上がってると感じてたけど、日本バレー界の底上げを感じますね。
藍と石川キャプテンがいなくても十分強かったですね。今回はチーム全体でレセプションやブロックが凄く良くなったという印象です。 山内さんが（キャプテンのせいか？）すごく気合いが入っているのを感じたし、小野寺君と健太郎と供にミドル攻撃で随分得点したようですね。甲斐君はこんなにバレーが上手なんだとビックリです。長身の彼が入ってミドルのメンバーと相手の攻撃に対してよくブロック出来ていたし、山本さんも小川さんもいつも通りすごかったです。富田君や大塚君もスパイクが強く決まって良かったです。以前から 強い選手だったのでしょうがあまりコートで長くプレーしているのを見たことがなかったので頼もしかった。超一流の西田と宮浦選手は相変わらす申し分なし。（ところで宮浦選手のことを英語の解説者はマヨーラと言っていたのが気にかかった）安心してみていました。 これで藍と石川キャプテンが入ってきたら超豪華 夢の強豪チーム日本！メダル取ってね！
