Install these can lights are on my list, so this was helpful!
They truly are the easiest lights I’ve ever installed. Especially if you already have the holes there. Would have taken me 15 minutes to switch them out.

Thank you! Chandeliers can be a little bit tricky because they can be heavy. But the wiring is pretty simple.

Nice! I have been wanting to add recessed lighting. You made it look too simple. How do you know about the trusses? Do the recessed lighting come in colors other than white, such as brushed nickel or black? Love a more detailed tutorial on this one to include connecting the wires to the boxes, etc. Thx!
I wouldn’t have known about the trusses but I was changing out an existing light fixture that required me to do a little extra work (long story) but I realized they weren’t solid.
The recessed lights come with simple, easy to follow directions.

What if you don’t have the wiring that goes in the ceiling, how do you add extra pendent lights that way?
I originally only had wiring for one light. I added the additional wiring.
I think I missed how you add multiple lights to the main line. How do you add lights to new junction boxes?
You have to run a new romex wire from the existing box to a new box. Kind of like a chain.
So my ceilings have this weird like plaster flower pattern on them. How would I recreate that should I need to patch the ceiling?
Interesting. My first resource is always google. There are lots of different techniques for finishing ceilings.
There was only one light before. How’d you get the extra wiring for the extra lights? Hopefully this makes sense
Makes total sense. I ran romex wiring from one light to the next. That way they’re all connected and controlled by one switch.

How are your cabinets holding up with the paint? I'm debating on painting my cabinets but the last batch we had painted..chipped quite a bit. I don't think the girl who did it Primed them...she just added plaster of paris to the paint.
Sounds like it was like a homemade chalk paint. My cabinets have held up pretty well- especially considering I didn’t do a clear top coat. They took a beating when my kids got hoverboards and were learning to use them. 🤣🤣 I touched them up and they look great.

The pendants look out of place because they are gold.
On the contrary - the pendants look perfect. In a more open space like this, mixing metals is the way to go. Nothing looks worse in an open space than having all the metals match exactly. It looks construction grade and boring. Mixing it up shows a sense of design and is much more appealing.
