A brokenhearted 20-something relives a lost relationship as he explores the physical space created by his ex-girlfriend's text messages.
Starring Tyler Ritter ("The McCarthys, NCIS), and Alexandra Daddario ("The White Lotus", BAYWATCH). Written and Directed by Laurence Jacobs & Jessica Jacobs.

Alone at night, Benjamin obsessively scrolls through past text messages between him and his ex- girlfriend Haley. Soon, we enter his subconscious and travel through a virtual message world. Nostalgia sets in, as he revisits old messages, pictures, and videos. The journey moves backward in time, beginning at the end of the couple's history, when they are no longer speaking, and ending at the beginning of their relationship: their first text message. Through painfully beautiful memories, Benjamin must find a way to let go of the memory that once was. Embrace reality or be trapped in digital nostalgia forever.

Great short film.. i know a lot of people can totally relate to this. Memories/moments allow us to relive the past, happy or sad but sometimes, holding on to those memories isn't allowing us to move on and move forward. Times change and people change.. Sometimes, we just have to let go even if we don't want to.

This was great
Great film. The greenscreen/animation was bit off at times but in the end I only cared about the beautiful and relatable story. I felt experienced a similar story when I broke up with my first girlfriend, and nearly cried at this. Just delete the past conversations, nothing good can happen from talking to your ex.

I've been through the same thing. Couldn't get over her in 4 years, but since 2 months now, I don't care what she does or where she is ... I think :/
I've been reading her messages over and over again, and when I contact her now, she doens't even answer or she says "sorry, I've got to go now"
We've all been there! Nostalgia is beautiful and terrible at the same time. The longer you hang onto the past the longer you'll be in limbo with yourself. But just remember that you're going to feel that feeling again! There's always another chapter!

Secondly, this is irrelevant sorta but what was the reasoning behind using ios 6 text message format while he was holding the phone and then the ios 7 format in the text world? Lol i'm just curious
Thank you so much Matthew. Be sure to spread the word and help us get more views! The reason the text world was iOS7 is because we shot the film before the new iOS came out (hence the old phone in the bedroom), and wanted to make sure the text world felt updated and not obsolete.
