I could try Rob 🤗. The thing is I'm sure how to articulate into words the control part as I'm driving. The amount of throttle and brake adjustments depends on pace, traction, power, and wheel mass. It comes down to practice, experimentation, and some rough hits along the way 😂. I'll do my best to figure out a tips video. I always recommend to start small and work up within your comfort level as your skills and confidence grow. Learn your machine, calibrate your throttle setup, and keep it running right. Eventually, you simply have to take risks and learn from your mistakes.🍻
Your skills with RC cars are on another level. The skate park sessions are so insane. Legendary control over these machines. I always enjoy your uploads as they are like therapy because of how fluid you throw these machines around. Hope you enjoyed your weekend!

The full loop flip on that 3/5 pipe was so sick! I recently bought 2 Notorious V5s one for my brother and I. Also a Kraton V5 and Rival MT10. Slowly been getting my head around custom build tips and tricks for making these rc's more durable and perform better.

Thanks so much Brother 😜. Yes, the MT41O is a pleasure to build 😍. The stock truck is durable, but the center driveshaft and CVDs all bend up badly with harder use unless you go M2C. The rear input cup and bearings get pushed through the casing from chassis flex without M2C bracing. Once you get it right, the truck is a tank 🍻😎💪👊👊

Hey Rich, Awesome video as always! Just got my 2nd outcast bc of you the 1st one becomes an od xl 🤩 sadly i got stuck in a water puddle for 2-3 seconds today. The water covered 1/2 of the tires height or a bit more. So it was in there a bit. Do you think i should get all new bearings and all the stuff? We dried the bearings and stuff with some air pressure. I opened the motor and it seemed dry inside. Thoguht id ask you since you are the best out here 😊 btw the car was new and never driven b4 Love, Niko😄
Thanks so much Brother 🤗. I would spray all the bearings with WD-40 Silicone spray and run the car briefly. That'll keep them from seizing up. Probably won't need to replace any of them. I wash my rigs with a hose sprayer and Simple Green 50/50 water mix before drying with a shop blower and air compressor. Silicone Spray has never let me down. I'll oil or replace bearings as necessary, but the Silicone is the ticket for longevity and beating internal moisture and corrosion. 😎💪👊👊

Love that MT410 and I’m pleased to say after 9mths of contemplating to buy one, I finally found an amazing 2nd hand one that I bought last week and I can not wait to run it. Yours took a beating brother especially that nose plant on the edge of the barrel roll lol but it took it like a champ. Shame about the pinion and bearing but that’s just the hobby I guess 😂. I used to run the Hobbystar 3674 2650kv motor in my Stampede 4x4 on 3s. Had it geared 15/54 and it was awesome, motor had tons of power. Only problem is it ran around 200F and eventually gave up on me. Dropped in a 3674 2450kv in hopes to get temps down a bit. Now it's got even more bottom end torque, but does still push 200 at times. Gonna have to get a heat sink for it, but for the price these motor are awesome, and really work well even staying on 3s.
@@cmarq007 Definitely not accurate. I've had to tap the pinion gear on for both motors, but once it's on there it does not come off. Probably doesn't help that I'm using an Arrma pinion gear which uses the D shape hole to fit snug on the motor shaft.
Really interesting comparison Rich!! I didn’t realize that the Outcast A4s was basically the same size as the MT410 👍 Hoping to get my hands on one. Will be the perfect size to slot between my Pro SC and Maxx for 4s trucks 😃

Your driving skills are off the charts Rich ! The Arrma outcast 4s v2 is a part of my fleet. The outcast is extremely durable and a great 4s basher in stock form. Great Vid as always.
I would consider upgrading to Typhon 6s shocks with softer springs. Really any buggy size 4mm shaft aluminum threaded body shocks are a big upgrade over stock.
Rich i want to get an outcast 1/5 scale roller! My question is i want the biggest power i can get is the max4 combo going to give me ridiculas power or what do you think will get me the massive power i want! Also what m2c parts do i need chassis , shock tower and what else m2c wise do i need to beef it up to max? Hey Brother 🤗. I actually prefer no frills ergonomic radios with good feel and solid range. My favorite is still the Tactic TTx300. It's light, responsive, and has great spring tension on the trigger and wheel. Yes there's better radios, but I honestly prefer the Tactic after trying my friends higher end ones. 😎💪👊👊

Congrats Brother 👊. I would strongly consider getting the M2C center brace and rear brace (connects from the center diff to the rear). The rear bulkhead is honestly designed for racing and prone to breakage. The rear input bearing separator is a thin ring of plastic that can push inwards and strip the rear gears. The bracing certainly helps this, but you may want to upgrade the rear bulkhead to aluminum at some point. Lastly, the newer direct fit M2C CVD driveshafts are a must 😱. The stockers bend constantly once you start having fun with harder hits. Stoked for you Brother!!! She's a great rig with the proper upgrades. Silky smooth transmission and shocks. Ohhh... the stock cap shocks are plastic if I'm not mistaken. They make aluminum options if you start blowing caps off. 🍻

I was at first, but switched to the old Tactic TTx 300 controller and reciever that ARRMA use to use. Actually use it for all my basher's. It's got better ergonomics and spring tension. Simple but effective with solid range and better feel in the hand 👌
I was running the smaller 4s dboots Backflips LP's on both trucks. The O4s had stock fluids and the MT41O is running 50/200/50K front to back diffs and 80 weight shock oil. 🍻
@@richduperbash2966 Been wanting to build this truck with all the m2c trimmings for a while finally doing it. Still had heat issues with my hobby star 3676 in this boiling hot state l live in with my outcast so l just put the Arma blx 6s 2050 kv motor l had on my V2 outcast with a 16 tooth pinion. Backed off the throttle trim a bit and the truck is an absolute beast all the power l need and runs nice and cool put the hobby star 3674 on my granite matched up with a Max 10 esc with a stock pinion and that truck is an untamed animal as well. They are doing bridge work close to my house and there is a bunch of fresh excavated dirt for me to tear up and huge mountains of dirt for awesome jumps l am having an absolute blast with my tuned V2 outcast and granite. I love this hobby and always will be a basher for life. Thanks again for your advice and knowledge.

Hey Rich you never got back to me on that last question l asked you. I have another question for you as well. What are the exact proline tires you are running on your mt410 close to having my truck finished need to choose a set of tires have a set of back flips for it but I am thinking about getting the proline tires I seem to destroy the backflips on my outcast fairly quickly.
Yes indeed. I used shoe goo and drywall tape. Cement board Fiba Tape and E6000 (large container for caulking guns) is becoming my preferred way to go. It's faster and cheaper with great results.
Hey, Rich! 🍻 have you ever had the O8S in that park?!? 😳 I’ve had a few sessions with my Xtrash (Xmaxx) in my local skatepark and break it every time 😂 but, not sure if I’m willing to do that with my O8S
I haven't ran Big Red there yet. My XMaxx suffered significant damages here 😱. Broke the steering assembly and had to replace the bulkheads, front chassis pod, and tower. That was before having the M2C chassis brace. These bigger rigs have to be jumped cleanly or something is breaking or bending every time 🤣😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 yep, I’ve gone through a few bulkheads, Bellcranks, shock towers, a chassis or two lol when you crash a big rig (it always happens) something always breaks 🤷🏻♂️ my last session with the Xtrash, it ejected a lipo and broke it open, bent an axel, center driveshaft and the shock tower. I’d be pretty upset dragging the O8S out like that lol

Man what a rush watching your tekno The A arms from there hinge pin placement on them must be so much stiffer then all the arrma rpm style a arms most people use.
@@탈모박사탈규 the droop screws are on the inner bottom A arms. I back them out enough to stop the arms from extending past the length of the shock rod ends so they aren't getting yanked on. When the lower shock pins are pulled out, the arms shouldn't drop down on their own. If they do, the droop screws need adjusting (need to backed out so they hit the chassis and raise the arms up slightly). Otherwise the plastic shock rod ends will get overstretched and fail over time.

Hey Rich, Awesome video as always! Just got my 2nd outcast bc of you the 1st one becomes an od xl 🤩 sadly i got stuck in a water puddle for 2-3 seconds today. The water covered 1/2 of the tires height or a bit more. So it was in there a bit. Do you think i should get all new bearings and all the stuff? We dried the bearings and stuff with some air pressure. I opened the motor and it seemed dry inside. Thoguht id ask you since you are the best out here 😊 btw the car was new and never driven b4

Thanks so much Brother 🤗. I would spray all the bearings with WD-40 Silicone spray and run the car briefly. That'll keep them from seizing up. Probably won't need to replace any of them. I wash my rigs with a hose sprayer and Simple Green 50/50 water mix before drying with a shop blower and air compressor. Silicone Spray has never let me down. I'll oil or replace bearings as necessary, but the Silicone is the ticket for longevity and beating internal moisture and corrosion. 😎💪👊👊

Love that MT410 and I’m pleased to say after 9mths of contemplating to buy one, I finally found an amazing 2nd hand one that I bought last week and I can not wait to run it. Yours took a beating brother especially that nose plant on the edge of the barrel roll lol but it took it like a champ. Shame about the pinion and bearing but that’s just the hobby I guess 😂. I used to run the Hobbystar 3674 2650kv motor in my Stampede 4x4 on 3s. Had it geared 15/54 and it was awesome, motor had tons of power. Only problem is it ran around 200F and eventually gave up on me. Dropped in a 3674 2450kv in hopes to get temps down a bit. Now it's got even more bottom end torque, but does still push 200 at times. Gonna have to get a heat sink for it, but for the price these motor are awesome, and really work well even staying on 3s.
The shafts on those motors rarely come to size, so the pinion gears fight to go on, if they even do. 🤯
@@cmarq007 Definitely not accurate. I've had to tap the pinion gear on for both motors, but once it's on there it does not come off. Probably doesn't help that I'm using an Arrma pinion gear which uses the D shape hole to fit snug on the motor shaft.

On my granite rich what can u tell me about suspension upgrades i busted a shock already n my truck stays on the ground?
I would consider upgrading to Typhon 6s shocks with softer springs. Really any buggy size 4mm shaft aluminum threaded body shocks are a big upgrade over stock.

Hey Rich, which radio are you using these days? I’m just getting back into the hobby with a Kraton V5 after a couple years off learning to fly FPV drones, and I want to pick up something nice and modern to drive the V5.
Hey Brother 🤗. I actually prefer no frills ergonomic radios with good feel and solid range. My favorite is still the Tactic TTx300. It's light, responsive, and has great spring tension on the trigger and wheel. Yes there's better radios, but I honestly prefer the Tactic after trying my friends higher end ones. 😎💪👊👊

Congrats Brother 👊. I would strongly consider getting the M2C center brace and rear brace (connects from the center diff to the rear). The rear bulkhead is honestly designed for racing and prone to breakage. The rear input bearing separator is a thin ring of plastic that can push inwards and strip the rear gears. The bracing certainly helps this, but you may want to upgrade the rear bulkhead to aluminum at some point. Lastly, the newer direct fit M2C CVD driveshafts are a must 😱. The stockers bend constantly once you start having fun with harder hits. Stoked for you Brother!!! She's a great rig with the proper upgrades. Silky smooth transmission and shocks. Ohhh... the stock cap shocks are plastic if I'm not mistaken. They make aluminum options if you start blowing caps off. 🍻

Rich, are you using the stock controller with the Outcast?
I was at first, but switched to the old Tactic TTx 300 controller and reciever that ARRMA use to use. Actually use it for all my basher's. It's got better ergonomics and spring tension. Simple but effective with solid range and better feel in the hand 👌

I was running the smaller 4s dboots Backflips LP's on both trucks. The O4s had stock fluids and the MT41O is running 50/200/50K front to back diffs and 80 weight shock oil. 🍻

@@richduperbash2966 Been wanting to build this truck with all the m2c trimmings for a while finally doing it. Still had heat issues with my hobby star 3676 in this boiling hot state l live in with my outcast so l just put the Arma blx 6s 2050 kv motor l had on my V2 outcast with a 16 tooth pinion. Backed off the throttle trim a bit and the truck is an absolute beast all the power l need and runs nice and cool put the hobby star 3674 on my granite matched up with a Max 10 esc with a stock pinion and that truck is an untamed animal as well. They are doing bridge work close to my house and there is a bunch of fresh excavated dirt for me to tear up and huge mountains of dirt for awesome jumps l am having an absolute blast with my tuned V2 outcast and granite. I love this hobby and always will be a basher for life. Thanks again for your advice and knowledge.

I seem to destroy the backflips on my outcast fairly quickly.

Yes indeed. I used shoe goo and drywall tape. Cement board Fiba Tape and E6000 (large container for caulking guns) is becoming my preferred way to go. It's faster and cheaper with great results.

Hey, Rich! 🍻 have you ever had the O8S in that park?!? 😳 I’ve had a few sessions with my Xtrash (Xmaxx) in my local skatepark and break it every time 😂 but, not sure if I’m willing to do that with my O8S
I haven't ran Big Red there yet. My XMaxx suffered significant damages here 😱. Broke the steering assembly and had to replace the bulkheads, front chassis pod, and tower. That was before having the M2C chassis brace. These bigger rigs have to be jumped cleanly or something is breaking or bending every time 🤣😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 yep, I’ve gone through a few bulkheads, Bellcranks, shock towers, a chassis or two lol when you crash a big rig (it always happens) something always breaks 🤷🏻♂️ my last session with the Xtrash, it ejected a lipo and broke it open, bent an axel, center driveshaft and the shock tower. I’d be pretty upset dragging the O8S out like that lol

Running droop screws with suspension sitting arms level when fully loaded. Same arm droop setup with all my bashers.
@@richduperbash2966 How much do you set up shock? Where is the stabilizer screw tightened? Is the arm level?
@@탈모박사탈규 the droop screws are on the inner bottom A arms. I back them out enough to stop the arms from extending past the length of the shock rod ends so they aren't getting yanked on. When the lower shock pins are pulled out, the arms shouldn't drop down on their own. If they do, the droop screws need adjusting (need to backed out so they hit the chassis and raise the arms up slightly). Otherwise the plastic shock rod ends will get overstretched and fail over time.
