Love your idea of keeping g a home for you to see your kids and grandkids and your parents to help take care of them. Teresa you look like your mom and Jerry you look like your dad. I see the resemblances. Nice seeing Dustin and Leslie in those photos. Great ideas to have a home base. Thank you for the video. See you soon! Safe travels. Nice park you’re staying at.

We always appreciate all your insite, experience, & opinions.
We will always have a home base of some sort. Being Canadian adds a whole other dimension to it. We dont have programs like escapees here.
We have to spend 5 months a year back in Canada, so that alone makes it almost a must. Our favorite option right now is to find a small piece of land build a barndo on it and put in 1 or 2 cement pads with hook ups for anyone that may chose to come our way.
Love on those parents, we only have Wendys Mom left....being new Grand Parent's is awesome & we hope to play a big part of there lives, a home base will make that easier.....cheers folks 🥃‼️

Yes indeed.. need to take care of the ones we love while we have them. You guys are certainly in a different set of circumstances, but if I know you, you'll make it work. Thanks Rob

Love seeing full time rvers but it’s not definitely for us. We camp 6 or 7 times a year for a week at a time. We enjoy getting away but there is no place like home!

The beauty of RV Life is there is something and a way for everyone. We started in tents and got into the RV life. Going full time for us has been a journey and certainly not for everyone. We appreciate you watching. Thanks

For us the same as you two. We are in our mid sixties and retired. We wouldn’t go without a home, we’ve part timed for going on thirty years but since retiring we go for a month at a time. Go home for a bit then go again. But unlike you we have no grandchildren and parents are in early 80’s still going out doing whatever they want, which is good. We’ve an acre of ground with a Morton building we keep the motorhome in with 30 amp and a shop. I couldn’t see living in the coach exclusively. Good watching both of you.

Deep thoughts with Jerry and Teresa😂. Seriously though this is something that we are currently contemplating. We have a full time RV spot, travel a solid 1/3 of the year, but still have our house. It seems like such a waste and yet it is a safety net. You really have the best of both worlds with your daughter renting your house. Nice food for thought! Thanks! - Mike and Shelley

We have gone back and forth with whether or not to sell the house. Just seems like now is not the best time to sell and the convenience or having the home base is too great. Thanks for watching. Safe Travels!

We will be retiring in a few years. However, we think we will still maintain a homebase.
Where else can we store all our stuff.
I enjoy woodworking, so all my tools. I have not seen a trailer big enough to yet just to haul that stuff.
The motorcycles, garden, patio, pool, etc.
Plus, we also need space away from each other at times, and having the house we can both inside and not in the same room.
And we know one day there will be grands kids, but hopefully not too soon.

I don't I think I will always be a part time Rver. The grandkids love camping with us so until they are too busy with school we will keep taking them with us when we can. Nice job.

I understand.. we are taking advantage of the time that we are still "Cool to be around" right now.. I think as long as we keep ice cream in the freezer that will last a while.. LOL. Thanks for watching.

We have to travel for our kids and grandchildren. We have 1 kid over in Prineville, another one in Minnesota and another one in NY and 2 more kids in AZ plus 4 grandkids in AZ and 1 in Minnesota. I am a 100% disabled veteran and we will come back once a year to visit a kid and get maintenance on the motorhome and on our bodies. Lol. We are selling our house and hitting the road full time.

We don't have a home base but we have family and friends all over that we can stay at if needed. But we also don't have any grandkids yet so that may change things for us. We do go to the Clermont, FL area for our VA stuff every winter. But we only stay for a few weeks to get it all done. Great video and thanks for sharing!--Jen

I never thought that Grandkids would have such a life altering impact on us. I would not change a thing. The beauty of VA Care is that we can get it pretty much anywhere.. but it is nice to have a once a year, take care of a bunch at once place. Thanks for watching, we appreciate you guys!
