Made me smile. I think we all miss Tony and to hear such a great tribute make my heart grow warm. Thank you for allowing me to go back to a good time in my life.
My favorite drummer of all time. Saw him at My Father's Place. One of the fist things I said was who the hell is this guitar player? Allan Holdsworth I heard he was fired the next night for not showing up for a gig. I went right out and bought the album and figured out every stroke. Tony was just the best drummer. Ask Herbie Hancock. I saw Holdsworth front row not ten feet from him in the IMAC in Huntington NY. He had Chad Wackerman with him. It was excellent despite the fact that he had hand cramps.
+Pas Thomas My guess is they wanted to do a tribute to the band and its leader, and probably included more than one tune, and they weren't all by Holdsworth. But clearly the band has massive respect for the entire band, including of course, Master Allan.
pfft tired of the allan comparisons. Guillermont clearly does his own thing, and distinguishes his own individuality wonderfully and very strongly if you listen to enough of his playing.
Splendid
I'd like to think Allan & Tony are smiling
😲 Holalalalalalal ! ça se reprend ça ?! 😱 Bravo...
I keep coming back to listen to this band and watch this great drummer at work.
It’s awesome when you finally find someone good drummer like this dude.
Captured the essence of one of my newly discovered favorite songs....wow!!!!

Guys let's not pass over the bass , Gilles owned it as they all did a fender rhoads would have been a nice touch awesome version
this should read tribute to allan holdsworth who wrote the piece not tony Williams.

Excellent technique, too many fills. Not even Tony Williams…
