Wow! I fussy cut ALL those birds because I haven't figured out how to use my lifted Scan and cut! Finding your videos are a blessing. I'm going to try again!!!
Great tutorial. This was my first time watching and I’m looking forward to seeing more. I’ve had my Scan n Cut for over a year and just took it out of the box. I’m just retired and now have time to work on it. YAY!
You are amazing at these machines and you've taught us so much, thank you!!
Thanks for a great tutorial. I just got my scan and cut and this is the reason I got it to cut patterned paper. This is so so helpful.
Thanks! That’s definitely a reason to get this machine! It does so much more. Stick around and learn how to use it to its fullest potential.
Thank you for getting me inspired again on the Scan n Cut! I will try getting it out and get to cutting. I have a DX125, but got discouraged when it was tearing the paper. I've tried resharpening the blade, making sure there wasn't bits of paper in it, but still troubles. Thank you for your enthusiasm, clear instructions and topics. VERY helpful!!!
You can do it! You got this! Glad you are inspired again. Makes me happy.
I love your scan and cut videos! I have had my scan and cut for
probably over 10 years and it’s still in the box and I’m chicken that I will break it. I do feel a bit braver about trying it out by watching you. I wanted to thank you for showing us how and explain what to do. Bless you! Again thank you so much❤
Oh No! That is too long. It is yelling "Let me out!" I have a ScanNCut Retreat coming up. Here are my offerings. Maybe you can join us. It is for all levels. www.flow.page/paperedchef

I've never seen this before! How great!
I got it to work!, made some beautiful cards. Thought my blade was broken. Machine set at 1/2 cut lol.
Fantastic! That happens to me quite often.
I just happened to come across your UA-cam video. I sell StampinUp also. Also, I have a Cut n Scran for about 5 years. Have not been happy with it. Maybe this will help. I knew about the pencil trick. Already learn some tricks for watching your video for my very first time.

@@libharriss996 You’re very welcome. Glad I could help.
Hi there I am watching the replay. I try and find this much time to view them as possible. I am very glad that you use the scan and cut as I have one. Also, I am a bit intimidated to cut the DSP but you make it look so easy so I will try and have more patience next time. Thanks for all you do in Post.
It’s only paper! Don’t let it get the best of you Elaine!
What is DSP? Sorry I am new. Thanks!
@@deltadawn72631It’s Designer Series Paper. I sell many patterns through my Stampin’ Up! store. The DSP I used in this video is no longer available. Check out my store. Click shop to see our current patterns. paperedchef.stampinup.net

I’ve got a machine and I’ve never used it…just like the other person who’s had theirs in a box for 6yrs. 😢 I keep looking at it but the SDX came out and most channels moved onto that one..🥰
Thank you Kim for doing this video.. I was waiting for it .. have a good weekend hugs from Maryland..

Thank you Kimberley for showing me how to use my machine more effectively. I will try this to see if I get more success in cutting out the birds of this DSP. Many thanks Sandra x ❤
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching Sandra.
Cutting those frames is soooo cool!
Thanks, I love those elements.
Thank you Kim. I enjoyed this episode.
Glad you like this. I appreciate you Karen!
Excellent tutorial! Thank you Kim!
Great
Thanks!
Hey from California
I appreciate you watching!
Thank you Kim!! I saved a sheet to do on scan and cut
Great ideas. Thanks for the great techniques.😊
I’m new to as an and cut. I’ve only used my machine a couple of times. Last time I used it the upper right corner curled and it was cutting on it. I hit stop. Since then I’ve tried to it several times and it won’t cut all the way through my card stock. I straighten up the mat, took the blade out. It doesn’t look like the blade is broken. Set at level 1. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Yvonne, you may have to cut a sliver off of the top of your mat, sand it so that it catches, or just get a new mat. If it doesn’t load correctly, it may not give you good results.
Some times my scan n cut cuts out certain small centers inside the larger flowers. I had pretty good luck with the birds on branches you showed, but it cut the centers out on a few even though they looked completely outluned. Any hints? Thanx. Old well loved cm350 model😊
Just try moving the images to different areas of the mat. You will have better results. Thanks for watching Anna.
Just shared
Thanks so much!
Dear Papered chef. I followed your hint to connect fine lines on a stamped image, or patterned paper. However, my scan n cut SDX1200 ignores the pencil lines and goes into the image, e.g. a bouquet, and tries to cut all the lines, which just leave me with a hot mess! Do you have any suggestions what I can do? Thank you.
Where did you get that eraser? You used in your video and where can I go and get a stylus for my scanning cut?
Here’s an affiliate link to my eraser. I love using it mine was a gift. amzn.to/42Jjb63
Which model of scan and cut are you using in this demo please?
I have the SDX. It doesn’t cut as well. I have to recalibrate it all the time.
Each machine has a personality. I hope it works better after you calibrate it.
I have CM350 and don't see any edit area on my machine when I got to your video at 7:38
It isn’t called Edit. It’s an icon with shapes on it. Try again. You got this.
Trudy from 🇨🇦
Hi Trudy. Thanks for watching.
❤.
I have a CM350 but I don’t have edit on mine. Any thoughts? I’ve googled it and found nothing.
where Do you buy your replacement maths for the SDS125?
Here’s my affiliate link to buy mats. ScanNCut SDX125E Mat (for DX models): amzn.to/3Ovq1DB
I am new to the scan and cut
I appreciate your videos and have learned a lot from you
I don’t understand I am having success cutting out colored images
However, I had an owl image and when it cut it cut out the eyes of the owl - not good
Tell me please what am I doing wrong
Most likely, there was a gap. Use a pencil to enclose the gaps so that it scans as one object. On my channel, there are many tutorials about using the pencil trick with the ScanNCut.
