I know a bunch of swissies and at first glance they seemed very formal, proud of their country and somewhat strict, but that seems to go for some german and austrian people as well, so maybe it's not just Swiss manner? However, after knowing them for some years, they got a bit less formal, but they seem to have a somewhat dry sense of humor compared to other countries. My friend from Basel once said: "To try talking to a bank is like actually try to talk to a bank. Go out there, stand in front of the house and try to make it answer when you talk to them!" That's his humor. And then we have the dark humor...
You mean the citizens don't elect though... it's the Bundesversammlung that elects the Bundesrat but the Bundesversammlung itself is elected by the citizens
@@afriendshib9811 So? The "Bundesversammlung" elects whoever is most convenient for the corrupt political class. They only represent themselves. The nonsense term "representative democracy" is the height of absurdity. Democracy means Demos Kratos = the people decide. We were so fortunate as to have direct democracy, but at this point, they just ignore it. We voted against the idiotic CO2 tax, they promptly ignore our vote and still raise the taxes on our energy. Politicians are not "the people". And it shows. I always knew Berset as a socialist "Betonkopf", but as soon as he got more power through this "pandemic", he turned out to be a real fascist at heart. He was of course the ideal agent for the cabal that's organizing this international "pandemic", which has nothing to do with a virus. That's IMPOSSIBLE unless he had everything ready to go well before anyone knew about the virus. Just as the EU had the "vaccine pasport" under development since 2018 (official EU timeline on their web site) - but still claimed on the Schengen web site that it was a "brand new idea" they just had now to "restore the liberty to travel" - they really think we are stupid.
As a Swiss person, I am really offended by this garbage. I'm not surprised that it was produced by our horrible tax-financed Pravda. They have money to finance far-left propaganda, but to actually find someone with a sense of humor? Oh no, let's just take the most ridiculous stereotypes and pretend that's funny. I wouldn't want to know what "jokes" they'd produce about, say, Germany or Italy.
I live in Switzerland now, and I think much of it is exaggerated but still quite true. You probably don't realize it because you're Swiss, and so it's difficult -- if not impossible -- for you to perceive your own culture objectively. The Swiss are notorious for being very serious and lacking a good sense of humor, and I'm sorry if you don't want to admit that, but it's still true.
@@CFav7 Wow, pathetic - you actually try to insult not just me, but "Swiss people" 🤦♂️ Having traveled extensively, lived and worked abroad and haveing a very critical mind, I never overlook the problems in Switzerland. I know them, I could write books about them. And I have an excellent sense of humor. Which is why I can tell with 100% certainty that this is garbage, NOT humor. The only people who think that this is funny are those who somehow have hatred for the good things about Switzerland, while praising the bad.
This video is quite true- been living here for 20yrs. Switzerland is dull and people are dry. I‘m here just to save some money and can‘t wait to retire elsewhere. Better be soon before the Swiss people suck my soul dry. I‘ve had quite enough!
As a swiss I won't tell you if i found it funny or not
😅😅
Haha You'd keep it to yourself haha. Most Swiss people are nice but difficult to approch.

gibts in der Schweiz wirklich so wenig Menschen? oder warum sind solche grandiosen Videos von Deville sonst so underrated?

There is a mistake:
We (the people) elect our parliament, and they then elect our Bundesrat.
The mistake is the entire video. The leftists at the Swiss Pravda just re-heat the old "Switzerland does not exist". Nothing about this is funny.
Judging by how funny this video was, I'd say the stereotype is true
How to make a swiss laugh
Either
1. Befriend them for some years and be a good friend
2. Make dad jokes
Make dad jokes - hahaa so true XD

Gosh I must be so un-Swiss:) I don't have an insurance, well just the most basic one and do my tax return usually in the last second!

Don't know if it was humor or not, but if it's true...do things in the last second is typical of us in latin america, so I would feel related xDDD
