I am using CC thread which I have converted to DMC & trying to enter manually since the symbols didn't pick up. So I am pulling up a symbol from the chart & assigning it to DMC. However I have made duplicate symbols--some with the same color & some with a different color. How do I delete the duplicate symbols from my key? Also I'm not very tech savy & you move from page to page without explaining how you did that. Also when using the Symbol icon on the chart it will mark different symbols rather than just the one I selected. Is there an easier way to unmark these symbols rather than doing it individually?
Hi BJ, to delete a symbol from the key, click on the symbol icon you would like to delete from the list (this will highlight that row) then click the bin/trash-can in the top left hand corner to delete. You can select multiple symbols at once and delete them all with one click. To move from page to page just click on the different tab to you would like to move to. There are 4 tabs to select from; MARKUP, KEY, PICTURES, INFO. To change the symbol selections you can try changing the symbol sensitivity which Markup R-XP select more/less of the selected symbol. It might be worth checking out our playlist of videos to understand how symbols work in Markup R-XP. Hope this helps.
@@markuprxp Thanks! I'm really trying to learn this. I don't have a pen for my IPad (yet) so I seem to have to mark things individually. I could not mark , more than one symbol at a time to delete (it would not highlight but one), but I got it done. Still learning!
Markup R-XP currently only employs pattern matching to detect symbols, so if there are only colours on your chart then no symbols will be picked up. You could manually select each symbol one by one to set them up, but depending on the size of the chart this could take some time. Thanks
I love this program. Is there an option to do a "find all colors on this page" ? If not, please add it to your plan. When I do a giant project, I pull my floss colors one page at a time. Thanks!
Hi Wendy, if you go into the project configuration screen and head down to the 'SYMBOLS' section, there is an option to 'Only show symbols on current page'. Enable this option, then close the configuration screen and go back to Single Page mode. When you now click on the Symbol Title Bar to bring up your symbol list it should only show the current symbols on that page. Hope this helps. Thanks, James
I loaded a Mystic Stitch. It didn’t load any symbols, so I can’t use the search feature. I have been adding them manually as before. Is there a work around with these patterns? I know they are no longer in business, but they are the only full coverage I have.
Hi Nancy, I've never heard of Mystic Stitch patterns so I'm not too sure what workarounds we could employ. If you want, you can upload your pattern via our portal (www.markuprxp.co.uk/Upload) and I can take a quick look and see if there is anything I can do for you. Thanks
I love this app so much. Only thing is that my 1 pattern has 103 symbols, but markup rxp just put up 99 symbols that I can assign colors to. My 2nd pattern has 200 symbols, I only got 193 symbols, 7 symbols just does not exist, even after reloading and deleting the chart 3 times.
Hi Mitz, when a PD/image file contains no chart information Markup R-XP has to rely on using pattern matching to identify the grid and symbols. These sometimes needs a little tweak and Markup R-XP has the flexibility to allow the user to do this. Have a watch of this video for how to check if all your symbols have been picked up, ua-cam.com/video/rlsqYHIT_N8/v-deo.html. Thanks
I love Markup R-XP!!!!! I couldn’t imagine, stitching without it! The symbol search function is amazing!
Thanks so much for all your hard work! Looking forward to trying these updates.

I sent it a few minutes ago. Thanks for looking at it. I had only gotten the first page to have assigned numbers.
@@ndmurdock I've created a short video showing how Markup R-XP can successfully load your pattern, see ua-cam.com/video/IF8wuQvUE1E/v-deo.html
