Why College Football Is Better Than The NFL (Explained In 10 Minutes)

In this video, I will be explaining why I think College Football reigns supreme over the NFL! Keep in mind that everything stated in this video is strictly opinion based and structured around my personal perspective. In the NFL I have not seen a game like Appalachian State upsetting Michigan.

You've also never seen anything like the Giants winning a title over the undefeated Patriots or unheralded teams like the Pats or the 49ers building dynasties. Instead what you see is the same six or seven programs winning everything, all the time, for 50 or 60 years. And when a random rogue program like Miami breaks into the club no one can handle it.

Of course you haven't. The NFL doesn't have that kind of team-to-team disparity in talent.

Great breakdown and good debate. Agree 100% on your point about rivalries. Eagles-Cowboys, Steelers-Ravens, Raiders-Chiefs, Packers-Bears etc are good rivalries, but definitely pale in comparison to OSU-Michigan, Auburn-Alabama, Harvard-Yale or even lesser known rivalries like Ole Miss-MSU, Clemson-South Carolina Wisconsin-Minnesota, etc. The atmosphere at a college game is so cool with the band playing, families coming together, tailgating, etc. I live in a pro football dominant area, but always go to several college games a year. I guess I will issue a cop out and say that I like college football more to go to in person, but like the pro game more on TV. However, watching college traditions like Chief Osceola on his horse, or Clemson players running down the hill to touch Howard's rock, or seeing Ralphie the Buffalo charging on the field at Colorado is so cool to see!

Go to break down interesting points the only reason why I prefer the NFL interns of rivalries is because you can have the same players for a decade wild college the players on Alabama in 2015 Are all gone

if you think the Dallas-Philadelphia rivalry is the "best" then you don't know NFL football. Also, NFL teams care about winning titles more than they care about bragging rights. And if you think the pros aren't faster and don't hit harder I question what you're watching. Don't confuse parity with lack of skill. The talent gap between teams in the NFL is an inch compared to the miles in the college game. Pageantry isn't competiton.
