Excellent video, especially for people like me who don't really watch sports and hadn't heard of Indiana Fever until they drafted CC. You helped bring me up to speed a bit as I prepare to continue following CC and maybe watching more women's basketball.

I agree. I think the ladies of the WNBA have only fired Clark up. She's going to rule with her new team. I think the same strategy they had in Iowa will translate into the WNBA. Just pick up the pace of the game and full court press.

I have said this before and I will say this again, I compare this time with the NBA in the 1970's a league that was struggling and was not a prime time thing whatsoever. Then 2 gentleman came out in the 1979 draft their names were Larry Bird and Earvin "Magic" Johnson, and they hoisted the NBA on their shoulders and put the game on the map and on prime time, then in 1984 a man named Michael Jordan came to the league and propelled it into an international game. Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, Camilla Cardoso and the rest of this draft class have the ability to repeat this feat with the WNBA, this is the beginning of the rise of Women's Basketball.
Caitlin Clark has set the record for most points in a college career in Division 2 Men's or Women's. Most assists in the Big 10 ever, she is a beast on the floor and will remain such in the WNBA, she along with the rest mentioned above will pull this league up and possibly have it turn a profit in the next couple of seasons.

So is Paige MJ by this logic?

The problem is Dunn and Sides are activists, the former brought the anthem kneeling to the WNBA in 2017 and the team has never STOOD for the anthem on her watch. She didn't even WANT to draft Clark to begin with, she wanted Reese, a lesbian activist who fits the activist hivemind far more closely, but ownership stepped in before it could happen. Boston made it crystal clear that she does NOT want CC on the team and the players' lack of enthusiasm speaks volumes.
They are going to attempt to "re educate" her and make an angry, anthem kneeling lesbian out of her. If that fails, they will freeze her out and run her out of the WNBA entirely just like what happened to Candice Wiggins.

The only time I have ever watched Basketball was in the Magic Johnson and Larry Bird era. I will be watching the Fever to seehow Clarke evolves in the WNBA.

Thank you Brother, I Truly Liked your Input here, I think your Perspectives were very solid on this. Like many, Im a Brand new Fan of Women’s Basketball, New Fever Fan and Caitlin Clark Fan from Minnesota. I read that Caitlin was already Praticing 2 days after the Draft, apparently she was offered alot of time to adjust, travel abit and settle in, like all the other WNBA Teams and players are typically doing, thats the norm, but She wanted to get right on the practice court, as well as working out in the other facilitiy areas. Her Workhorse Drive is just Fierce. And then she and Aliyah was hooking up working out with other Teammates. This Fever Team is Hungry and will be Fully ready. Alot of people are hating on her out there which is just ridiculous jealous nonsense and needs to be yesterdays news. Truth is, Caitlin thrives on it, it motivates her, so what these hate types of people may not see is, that they’re actually Spurring her on more. She dont let Bad blood and Negativity sink in, she will take that business onto the court to show how she feels. Alot like Larry Bird and a few other would do back in the day. People would Be Trashing Bird, and He would Light them up Hardcore, and Have his Best games to prove a point. To me, thats a Mark of an All Star Play maker, Bringing it All, when needed. I also heard The Fever have a huge amount of Cap Room, vs other Teams actually being over limit and have to cut Deep, and for The Fever, That being with The Caliber Talent and Their Solid Core theyve Built, because they Have a Tower of Power Talent there, not like 1, maybe 2 Key players, they are Stacked Bro! I mean seriously, when Teams are gonna try to Defend, How are you gonna Defend 5 Playmaker Starters , who can All Make the Shots or pass it around, outside, Underneath, in the middle and everwhere in between,,, its going to be like The Ghost Busters Slogan,
“Who you gonna call? Im just like…. if the Fever Play this out Methodically, Collectively, its gonna Be Brilliant, just my opinion.

When i watched her play in the last 2 games of the NCAA tournament i thought of Lary Bird. I was impressed with her passing. Yes, i watched because of her. If anyone cares, my thoughts as a former ball player in college, club teams ect. I enjoyed watching a brand of b-ball that i grew up playing. Picks, passes ect. I'm not into the superman poses or forcing shots. Don't care for the booty shaking ect.. The wnba got a GREAT draft class that came in riding high on the viewership and intetest in the girls game because of the NCAA tournament. ( entire season) support Cc and the others, embrace it, grow it, and don't screw up this great chance to bring viewrship, advertising dollars ect. Listen to Bill Burrs take on it and learn.

Caitlin Clark is an irreplaceable player where others like Paige and Reese could be replaced on a team and that team still succeed, Caitlin could not. That said her teammates in Iowa, though not as impressive, were her assets and without them, Caitlin would have been nothing. Building a team will require Clark to grow into the lead and not just be thrust into it.

The fever have lots of cap to play with. I notices the LV ACES have an embarrassment of riches. The ACES have 2 players in the last year. If Kate Martin does not make that team, an interesting pick up exists.
