There is a big difference between motorcycle and Luge/ skeleton/ bobsled. If you crash, the way to the ground is not that big, so the impact to the body is not a big deal. Also there are no things to hit in a bobsled track. (Normally) If you crash with your motorcycle, you can slide into trees, cars... and many more. That all looks crazy at it actually is. Right, so the first clip is from Konigsee, from s3 to s4 (Not kriesel). The rest of the clips are from Altenberg (it says it on the bib) and none of them crashed in kriesel. and none of them are skeleton sleds, they're all Luge sliders. Was there any fact checking done here at all?

Poles, fences, exposed track structures…. So many hazards that can fatally wound the athletes if they go off the track. You don’t see light poles around F1 or motoGP circuits..
I'm not 100% sure but at the Olympics, they get about 6 runs before the competition. The athletes that live in the country where the track is get to practice on the track as much as they like though.
This is why if I had to do either I’d choose skeleton, rather be knocked out going head first and be oblivious to what happened than conscious and watch my legs get mangled first🙅♀️

Watch the skeleton carefully you'll see they are just lying still. there's no way at those speeds sliding down a half tube that moving your feet will have an affect but don't take my word for it, I watched a woman from the skeleton talking on a UK TV show and she'd only been doing it for a few months prior to the Olympics and she got very little chance to train but was still competing at the Olympics!....so if that's not proof I don't know what is!
@@alexonian9543 Only way would be to make it more simple and that wouldn't be fair against those who are better in longer tracks which require more skill and less of starting power and a better sled. Those people are allready suffering since there are very few tracks who fit those points unlike short and simpler tracks of which there are many.
@@joeljoseph26 None of these ones died. If you are talking about Vancouver it was the worst mistake made in luge and some idiot made a metal construction next to the track - since that accident nobody has even hit wood panel they put it on there.
Just because someone invented such a stupid sport, it doesn't mean that you have to participate in it. What could this produce but a lot of orthopedic surgeries?
