Everyone feels the struggle of getting the cowboy hat
It's legit a 2% chance to get and only spawns in chest after encounter 2 (on top of the spire) its rigged

I got the hat and bow first try. Just came back to D2 in a little over 2 years. Helping a friend on his 19th try to get either and he left empty handed.
After learning that Dead Man’s Tale exists, and learning that a cowboy hat is in the game, I’m on the quest for drip.
if you want to go even more in on western theming, there's a dead man's tale style lever action legendary called long arm that is arc that drops from this, so you can have a fan firing hand cannon (last word), and a lever action rifle.
The hardest part for me wasn’t getting the cowboy hat cloak; it was getting the Trials Monke helm to put under it for meme value.
Who are you?! I have the exact same build. He’s my traveling bounty-hunting monkey. I have a brown shader on him to keep the theme real. I have a thematic build for all my skins.
Getting that helm was simple lol
So, for hunters the hat drops at the Mid Boss encounter and the Final Boss. The other classes on the other hand, aka Warlocks and Titans, the hat drops at Ascend The Spire and Final Boss. Plus the Hunter hat has a lower drop rate because it's a class item, and class items have lower drop rates. (For those who don't know)
The hats just have a lower drop rate I think it’s like less than 2 %
0:15 having solo flawlessed spire of the watcher, I can confirm there is no God
I got super lucky and actually got two hats and the exotic bow on my first run. My friends were annoyed cause I was like "oh, that's neat", not even realizing the drop rate was so low.

The Last Word is my favorite gun in the whole game, and seeing you fully comitting to the raid and using it throughout it is absolutely amazing
I have a friend who we were introducing to destiny and when we were showing em the dungeon they got the hat on their first go

I did this dungeon for the first time last night. I was hoping for the hunter cloak but not expecting to get it. I got the cloak on the harpy encounter and then got the helmet on the final encounter. My friend, who hadn’t done it either got four gauntlets and the scout rifle.
Take a shot every time someone says hat, or every time Wolf says "You fuck!"
as a warlock ive been farming the first chest. Ive done over a hundred of them, my bones itch
Definitely have had to have spent over 24 hours farming the first encounter at this point and still no hat for Warlock

I completed like 5 runs of Duality and got the full set and I completed 10 runs of Spire of the Watcher and I am still missing the hat
I just recently got back into destiny 2 and I've never done a dungeon/raid and this looks like so much fun

I don't know if you've had the same problem I have but I have only been getting seasonal engrams SEASONAL ENGRAMS SOME TIMES I GET NOTHING IF YOUR'S BLOWS MY RNG BLEW UP I GOT ONE PIECE OF THE SET AND ITS THE HELMET I HATE THE HELMET AND I GOT IT ON MY FIRST RUN I HATE THISAND YET I KEEP TRYING AND I ALWAYS FAIL PLUS ANOTHER THING ON MY FIRST RUN INSTEAD OF GETING A VARIETY OF LOOT I GOT THE SAME HEAVY WEAPON 3 TIMES AND IT KEEPT HAPPENING AND ONE LAST THING I KEEP GETING JACK SHIT FROM THOSE CHESTS ON THE WAY UP AND THE WAY DOWN buddy I hope you got the hat but I am starting to think that I may never get any thing from that dungeon ever again

I checkpoint farmed the harpy boss about 200 times and the final boss 10 times but it was worth it by far the best hunter cloak ever made!
Man... ive farmed the 1st encounter over 50 times the past 3 days trying to get the titan hat. idk if i can do another 150 😭

The Hunter hat was the only one I wanted. Multiple straight months of solo attempts, but only a couple days before Lightfall dropped I finally got it.

The first time I ever did this dungeon, my boyfriend held my hand the entire way. I had no clue what to do the entire time, all I did was adclear on my Warlock. Didn't get the cowboy hat but I got the cowboy chaps :D

Were the weapons from spire craftable at some point during season of the seraph or is this before they removed random deepsight weapons and the materials they dropped?
No usually new weapons in Dungeons are not craftable. I think Duality had some returning guns that were craftable but that’s the only thing I can think of.

f the scout rifle, i have 5 of those alreddy, i just want my deam cloak T_T
depends on how much you care about having last word in the kinetic slot, but you can also grab a craftable dead mans tale from an exotic mission in the rotator. the downside is that other than maybe trust in the gambit loot pool, the energy HCs lack a certain yeehaw energy.

You need to buy the Witch Queen Dungeon key. Then make sure your light level is good and get in there.

It is nice as lucky pants are I don't understand why at boss phase you're using lucky pants instead of celestial nighthawk. You do about 400-500k less damage. The lucky pants crutch is real.
