A list like this without collectors/limited editions would have been so much better

One game I think that would make the list is retro city rampage physical.
Demon Throttle is a physical only Switch game with a run of 10,000. Mad that it wasn't included!
@@ZackeryGee There are always the LRG and Super Rare Games ones but I think even without those there are some regular physical copies that go for way higher prices than original retail, would be for sure interesting to see those!

Might want to rename this video "Switch Special Editions Now Worth More" to be a more accurate title. Although most people are aware that limited editions are worth more over time.
The switch is actually 3yrs OLDER Than it's generation siblings.
The switch is a 9th Gen console, sitting in with the PS5 and XBSeries systems.
The 8th gen console that sat with the PS4/XB1 was the Nintendo Wii U.
Nintendo switch broke the Console generation because of wii u' s failure.
Games aren't the only thing. I looked for older tab books. Some of the ones I wanted were going for $1500 for new, $700-$900 for used. I ended up getting one for about $40 that I'm babying and holding onto. No telling when it's gonna hit that price jump.
A title that seems to yo-yo in price for the Nintendo Switch is Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet. I originally paid $80 USD for the Japanese import. It then balooned to $120 USD, and is now $60 USD on Amazon. The PS4 versions sometimes show up for as much as $250 USD.
I have ps4 versions of several of these. However for ZBotW I have the complete edition from Japan with full English. While now a collectors edition it is nice having everything on the cartridge.
The final fantasy pixel remaster could easily make this list, the standard or collectors edition
Ah my wife got me the Santa Destroy No More Heroes bundle a couple of months ago. Brand new and sealed with the cards and the flag for €180,-

The Messenger physical copy is selling for around $250-$300.
I actually own a sealed Shantae & the Pirate’s Curse Collector Edition, still boxed and bubble wrapped. I have a copy of all the games so far to play, and bought this one when it went to LRG because I know the fans love it, and I was hoping it would be a good investment. I had no idea

4:35 you also forgot to mention that limited run games also printed a standard /classic physical copy for the PS Vita that version is even more rare since Vita games are no longer in print.
What they did reprint this game they put part 1 and 2 in a bundle and you can find the physical copy at Play-Asia for both ps4 and switch

Theres a japanese double pack of Bloodstained 1 and 2, with english, for around $35-40. I don't think it's out yet, but it's a lot cheaper than just 1.
I actually bought the Monster Hunter Rise Deluxe version in Metal Tin. I also got the Tears of the Kingdom Art Print though that was presale from Best Buy.
Its just a bit sad that LRG, which makes up a significant part of this list, shot themselves in the foot a bit and now their sales are down...
Maybe if they'd hire a few more people so they could ship their products, things would be different. As it is now, people are waiting a year or more for their orders.
I have a digital copy of Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse and the non Master Edition of Zelda Breath of the Wild. So technically, I’m not missing out on those games.
I have never owned or used a switch. The only reason I watched this video is bc I love listening to Jess.
The 2 3ds dragon quest remake, went up in value alot
I bought those day one but the DS versions are even higher especially Dragon Quest VI I that was printed and very limited copies.
The chris game one, a vinyl record by itself can go for over 20 bucks at different stores

If you find a copy of final fantasy pixels be sure to grab. Mario 3D all stars was limited copies n people spend 120-130 on amazon for it. But the hd upgrade in galaxy makes it an extremely nice and even trippy at parts n the sunshine better graphics so Mario fans will always eventually want. Sucks I didn’t have a switch until the Oled eventually. A retro shop is your best chance to find rare Nintendo games. Where I got 3d all stars for 74 n a few other switch games behind the glass I didn’t ask what they were

I`ve got Blasphemous collectors edition, paid 100$ for it. It`s pretty ridiculous tbh, you can find part 2 easy for 30$ but not part 1.
They forgot Xenoblade 2, collectors edition and the torna golden country.
I have a game cartridge of “The Jack Brothers” for Virtual Boy.
You need to buy 4,000 carts minimum from Nintendo. So all these games have 4,000 copies.
Scalpers pushing prices to insane levels and idiots paying those prices are what stopped me collecting. Now I'm 100% digital

Thse are going based off of "price wanted" titles and not actual “recent sales value”. That's like me putting up a Yugioh card for 7,000,000even though market value is only 7 and saying it's worth 7mil

@@thecunninlynguist it would need to be based off of most recent market value. As in what it last sold for on the market. Otherwise, anybody could say any random number for any product and consider it “market value”. Just trying to provide some context in how “market value” works. I guess I should said “most recent sales value” so it was my mistake

Otherwise, while I enjoy the narrator's delivery in this video, the content is pretty weak. This isn't about the games, but rather limited or special editions. It also doesn't take international releases into account. Finally, it mentions Blasphemous, but there's a more valuable Blasphemous collector's edition from LRG.
I have the normal editions of all of these. So sadly nothing to sell. All are awesome games to play!

Not really accurate, games are quite cheap for the system but of course collectors editions are more valuable.

Basically any game with a collectors edition is 100+

They should've made a list on individual switch games that were available when they released but now are scarced
