3D all stars was a limited print, but it was soo..... abundantly available for the longest. I can't believe people didn't jump on it when they had a chance and now paying resellers $20+ more that what they are worth.
I got lucky and was able to get Fire Emblem Three Houses Seasons of Warfare Edition when went live for 99.99. Now it was double that price CIB as I loved that game but I have everything in the box sealed except the artwork as I wanted to look at it. I missed out on Breath of Wild Master Edition when launched because I didn’t anticipate it would sell out in seconds and hoped for a restock after initial sell through but didn’t happen. Don’t sleep on any limited editions for Zelda as I learned that anytime Nintendo does a direct be ready for a release of a special limited edition almost immediately after or during the direct
I just know limited run is gonna be doing another physical copy collection for Turok again since Turok 3 Remastered has been out. Honestly, if the Turok Trilogy is $60 on Limited run, that is gonna be a hell of a good deal.
The most expensive Switch game I have is the Outlast 1 + 2 Bundle Limited run release. I think I have their 1st release too, which I believe is Thimbleweed Park. I would count the games/steelbook versions as seperate from the Collector's Editions. I have a bunch of collector's edition including Metroid Dread, Art of Rally, A Robot Named Fight Premium Edition, Panzer Dragoon long box edition, etc.
“I don’t want to unfold that, I want to keep it nice” It’s a paper map/poster of a game youll never play or sell. Unless you are just collecting for profit, which is called reselling. Smh. You guys are so funny.
@@RetroMediaRoom I think that’s totally fair, and I am not of the opinion that “someone else could enjoy it if you won’t” I just think you are shorting yourself on fully enjoying stuff like that in the name of preserving it.
Yeah, sometimes I care and sometimes I don't so intensely, more often than not I really do enjoy this stuff and try not to worry too much about "messing it up"
Both the PS4 and PS5 games are region free by the way. Heck, even most PS3 games are region free. The PS2 is where most games become region locked and you either need a device or a modded console.
I did early on but that's why I always mention PriceCharting.com so anyone can look it up themselves because they are always changing based on the market. I could next time but we'll see if people start yelling at me that the prices aren't accurate anymore. Also I just started organizing my info better so it'll be easier now during the editing.
Sharing market values that are publicly available of games that I keep from my collection has no bearing whatsoever on scalpers preemptively purchasing mass quantities of brand new items using bots to immediately resale on eBay. So if a watch collector shows off his Rolex in a video, is it then his fault that others make imitation Rolex watches to scam people? The logic doesn't track. I guess it's also my fault if someone's games get stolen because the robbers that broke into their house knew the values of the games they spotted because they happened to watch my video. Sounds pretty far fetched to me.
FYI: in my community posts I showed all the game's values at the time via PriceCharting.com.

I have two sealed copies of it I bought an extra just in case
It’s all low quality emulation. Any objective glance at the collection will reveal how lazy the title is.
@@B4reDown Still fun
Anything marketed as limited usually isn’t. The game sold millions of copies, mostly to suckersz
i didnt get a switch until mid 2023 so i missed out

Yeah they already have that deal digitally so I think you're right.

Sounds like a fine collection 😀
Nice collection
Thank you!
Do you know how many times I've seen SNK 40th anniversary for $20 on Amazon?
You win some, you lose some.
Probably not the ESRB Teen rated NA version, it's still worth average $48 right now CIB.

Being obsessive is part of having a collector's brain, I try to find a balance but don't always succeed.

mine is minecraft story mode the complete story
How do you nominate a game that you have not played
What did I nominate and for what? This video is about their market values, not whether or not I've played them.
Nice collection 👍
Thank you! 🙏
They just added more games for the Atari 50.
Oh sweet!
Yes a free update even
I bought Super Mario 3D allstars for $20. Not new but damn close lol.
That's a great find 👍
7:38 - I'd return this, because of the tilted sticker on the card.. :(
Yeah it is slightly tilted, they don't make these anymore so oh well.
Show the prices next time
Yeah I was just gonna ask

I just posted two screenshots of the values if y'all want to see them 👍
That’s why in the video you state “these prices are current as of xx/xx/xxxx”.
Yeah, hopefully that'll still work.
You complain about resellers but you make a video that just encourages that.

Video game collecting is in trouble.
Yeah, it's tough for new collectors, I'm blessed that I started all the years ago that I did.
