I just bought a Modbap Per4mance system a week ago, super excited to see what all the hype is about with these dudes. I love seeing different perspectives come together in eurorack, and this kind of glitchy hip-hop has been lacking in the modular world for a while. Cool video Corry and the rest of y'all.
Love my Osiris, and the Trinity looks amazing. Hue sounds great; it'd be my first pick for an end-of-chain module if it were stereo... fingers crossed for a stereo v2!
I just won a Trinity on a Sweetwater giveaway! This thing looks amazing! I bet it sounded great live! I'll be ordering a ModBap20 case from @PerfectCircuit real soon!
These are amazing but, Cory, I really hope you’re thinking about a sequencer that’s conducive to the drunken drummer feel. :) I know they are out there but I think you’d really nail it. Plus i like the look for these and to have a modbap system 1 would be sick! God bless!
I typically use and MPC (so many years) but yeah that swing can be gotten if you know the right blend of unquantized, quantized and swing params to employ when programming but I’m always open to bringing the tools to eurorack. But for me personally the MPC is the axe for that tree so to speak.
everything sounds dope. i have an osiris and i love it. i wanna get hue, but i'm kind of bummed the filter doesn't seem to have resonance control. but honestly maybe that's the point, like the filters in mpcs from the 80s/90s.

indeed never saw anyone do hip hop on a modular system before

Nice ..how much do they cost?
Wow what a sound!

Fantastic demo, Corry! Already in the budget for 2023 to get Trinity. Killer sounds from both modules!
My trinity arrives friday, can't wait!
Man this is awesome. More of mod bap!

I agree! A eurorack sequencer with J Dilla-style swing/feel to it would be amazing 😊
@@reelreviewdude5126 a "J-dilla swing" is just unquanitized loops
Only Dilla can have that kind of swing
Mpc as the sequencer takes care of that

Nice
hip hop low fi modular!
Is hue just mono? Do you need a mono to stereo splitter for output?

Yeah it’s meant to be more of a DJ style performance filter in hue. I designed Meridian to be more of a full featured and resonant filter.
Does anyone know what case he’s using?
Look up Black Hole Cases
What's the name of that case?
