Can we acknowledge that their relationship from the start has been transactional with a power imbalance? From them being kids to adults the relationship it's never been on the same level. Also Blitz did apologize to Stolas during the episode at Ozzies.
The description itself for the newest episode actually acknowledges this so that means we'll probably see this issue get resolved and Stolas will see his wrongs! :D
That's good. As someone of the Hooted Persuasion, lol, It would be good for Stolas to be given a reality check. So he can grow as a character as well as Blitz.
Even if you ignore all the other red flags stolas has, like the fact he has cannonically abused an imp and it was more of played off as a joke. Fundamentally even if this was a healthy relationship stolas seems to have no clue what a relationship should actually be like so hes projecting the fiction hes consumed his entire life onto his real life which can always cause strain on the partnership since that person can never live up to those expectations set for them. So in a way he is self sabotaging his own relationships with the sort of unrealistic expectations and honing in specifically on the relationship while ignoring how his choices affect those around him. Dont get me wrong both are in the wrong and need to get some serious help to work out their issues. And obviously you should have some basic expectations in a relationship but you also have to acknowledge that real people arent always going to be exactly like you wish they were and its not some fairy tale and arguements can happen but stolas seems to want to avoid conflict entirely.
The trailer indicates that Stolas will be held accountable, at least that's what I think. The song itself indicates that he doesn't know what he did wrong, but he's willing to work on it. He will most likely lose his status and hurt his daughter. This is a good point for him to learn how to live in hell and pay attention to problems with hierarchy. He's a nice guy, but let's not forget how he was raised. If he changed his behavior in one episode, it would be terrible. I guess it's not without reason that we are often shown that he is a hypocrite. But these are just my assumptions and analysis, if the season ends in a different way, I will be disappointed.
I kinda end up on all of these Stolas videos but eh: I would honestly prefer if Stolitz didnt end up endgame. I get that Vivs intention is that Stolas also gets a reality check and they make up but I dont think Stolas is getting the same treatment Blitz did I mean Blitz was given a ton of people he broke and I feel like it was done to try and put Blitzs' bs on the same level as Stolas' which...it isnt. Blitz did shitty things but Stolas was the one profitting from a sex pact, which btw the whole relationship was build on. I dont think this could work out good realistically but the show is catering to the shippers so...
Yeah, I hope that changes but it might lead to Stolas made out to be the "innocent one" and Blitz begging for forgiveness, which I really hope I'm wrong.
@@megankissinger8269 Yeah, but he could've gotten it by stealing it, or could've kept it from Stolas and not agreed to what's essentially sexual coercion. It's not really a "benefit," it's Stolas dangling Blitz's livelihood and ability to use the only skills he feels like he has over his head in exchange for sex. It's effectively what's known in legalese as "quid-pro-quo," or "this-for-that." Commonly used to describe situations such as an employer coercing/bullying an employee into sex or another compromising state with claims that they'll do things like give them better or more hours/get them promoted/give them special benefits at work in exchange for it, or by threatening to make their work life suffer if they don't (or even sometimes both at once, heightening the idea of danger). Stolas knows Blitz is in a situation wherein he needs some kind of way into the mortal world to carry out his job, and basically holds access to the book hostage until Blitz agrees. Blitz, meanwhile, knows it's not only _his_ livelihood at stake, but also Moxxie and Millie's, so there's a whole lot riding on him keeping that book available to IMP. It's once again that _massive_ power imbalance rearing its head; Blitz has nothing to bargain with except his body, and has not only his business and ability to earn money threatened, but also his employees', and not having a job also puts Loona at risk...and Blitz is nothing if not a devoted dad.

I find that "pairing" forced, disgusting, and a major WTF. Mayberry wanted to kill Martha for being a homewreker, and the latter is a homewrecking cannibal. Yet people wanted them together because it's "cute & sexy."🤮 What Martha had done was unforgivable & she was just as (if not worse than) Mayberry's ex-husband! Not to mention her family are CANNIBALS!!! Even if Mayberry regenerates (as what they said), Martha & her family are still gonna eat Mayberry if she continues being in a toxic relationship with her ex's murdering mistress!

Ugh, the show gave itself a chance to walk away from the Stoliz/Stolas family drama and didn't take it, the episode could've been more of Blitzø and Verosika patching things up instead of a rlly bad song (ALL 2 U)/Stolas ruining everything about the episode
@@megankissinger8269 I don't think the intent here is "patch things up romantically." We're shown that Verosika is in fact _incredibly_ understanding about Blitz and his issues, his aversion to romance, his inability to handle someone saying that they love him, and all his other personal neuroses during Apology Tour, as she poignantly indicates that Blitz fits right in at the party, because he hates himself. They have the making of "great as friends, not as lovers," where they could in fact just be a couple of folks who are comfortable hanging out together, maybe sharing another fling without romantic attachment (Verosika's a _succubus,_ after all. Casual sex is probably something she does, which might have in fact been why Blitz freaked out when she became emotionally attached to him during their relationship).
Stolas doesn't realize his part in ruining the relationship. This is part of his development which we will hopefully see in the future.
Wait we will!!!! 🤯🤯😮🤔
