I didnt start investing until i was 40. Im going to be teaching my children from the off (might be a good series for a UA-camr!). The barriers are down to investing now, remember having to go to the bank to buy shares. When i was 20 i bought Morrisons shares!
Couldn't agree with you more on the point about debt. So, so true that there's a difference between debt to buy assets and debt for consumption. Be interested in a video on your latest round of debt at some point -- what sort of yield you get on it compared to what you pay away on the loan to buy it...
I pay 16% interest which is absolutely disgusting haha! But the land next to me was something I dreamt of buying pretty much since I bought my first one so it’s not really an investment to sell it’s an investment in my future. But for comparison - I got mine in 2019 for 40k, neighbours got theirs in 2021 for 70k and I got the next one in 2023 for 100k…. So huge appreciation
@@pandabossanna thanks yeah I saw the video on that one. Three point about smart debt is that it produces something for you, though, right? So I was wondering what you anticipated your land (or you via your land) producing ... (16% is a lot -- wish you'd asked me before you borrowed that!)
