How tactfully Norah behaves towards Richard! She could crush him with her voice if she only used it in full force! I love and admire her! :-)

Rafail F: Agree more than words easily say.
She also covers for what I think was his sexist tendency to make a huge deal of the (all male?) band, and only mention her very briefly when it was unavoidable.
And then there’s the arm draped close around her neck.
She either interpreted his behaviour with great grace and generosity or covered for it for the sake of the audience and *his* dignity.
I have a hard time watching this, ever.

The line between music that entertains and music that hurts the ears is a very fine one. These two entertainers easily could suck together, but they f***ing pull it off. Well done.

What a lot of people don't realize, or at least say, about Keith is that he is very accessible despite his huge fame, fortune and international notoriety.
You could see him on the street and say hi, and Keith would have no problem chatting with you. I met Keith at a New years party around 20 years ago. He was standing there by himself next to the bar with a dirty mustard down coat and a drink. We went straight and said hi. had a great time talking with him. Try doing that with Mick,,,,

Keth Richards is the king of cool and the nicest person you could meet. He is a genius and has never stopped inspiring me musically since the time I was a child. Anyone who can't recognize that is cheating themself of being touched by a huge catalogue of the greatest music ever created. Keth Richards is the reason I bought a guitar and the Stones music has meant more to me than words can ever describe.

"Another goodbye to another good friend". That's a line from one of the songs Richards wrote and sang for the Stones - Before They Make Me Run (1978). It's thought that the line in the song referred to Gram Parsons.

Keith is what he is. Great legend rock and roll legend/ guitarist. Whatever you think of him personally he seems to have changed/evolved over time. Unlike others. Including many/most of his contemporaries, he's survived most and I think in large part because he changed/evolved. He's always been very talented pus he's made a few good choices and been very, very lucky.

+James Roth It is weird to me, Keith singing. It is funny. I have heard him singing other songs and the feeling is the same. Nonetheless, he is a talented guitarist. I love his adventures in the music, writing songs, playing, even singing. He is great!

    • @blou4now

    • @NickLandess
      @NickLandess 8 років тому +4

"has very little talent" ... nope. Try again. You can not like Keith, not like Keith's music, and surely there are tons of guitarists out there who could technically play rings around him, and his voice never opened any doors... But "... very little talent..."? Nope.

Love hurts, love scars, love wounds
    And mars, any heart
    Not tough or strong enough
To take a lot of pain, take a lot of pain
    Love is like a cloud
    Holds a lot of rain
    Love hurts......ooh, ooh love hurts
I'm young, I know, but even so
I know a thing or two
    And I learned from you
I really learned a lot, really learned a lot
    Love is like a flame
It burns you when it's hot
    Love hurts......ooh, ooh love hurts
    Some fools think of happiness
    Blissfulness, togetherness
Some fools fool themselves I guess
    They're not foolin' me
    [1] I know it isn't true, I know it isn't true
    Love is just a lie
    Made to make you blue
    Love hurts......ooh, ooh love hurts
    ooh, ooh love hurts

Love is like a STOVE, not a flame. At least in Gram and Emmylou's version which is the one they're doing here.

It only takes one performance to know how good someone is. Both performers clinched the deal on this one!
