I bought it with the $70 bitcoin because I figured it would pay for its self down the road when Bitcoin doubles. But have a couple of questions. 1) It seems that the contents of each of the cards is NOT concatenated, is this correct? 2) If the answer to 1 above is "Correct" then that represents an issues as ones crypto is fragmented, thus making it not possible to view ALL crypto held. 3) If the answer is the contents of the cards can or is automatically concatenated onto a single card, that's not demonstrated. 4) I prefer a "Seed Phrase" as security back up, also, would prefer is Tangem had a Desktop app instead of insisting upon using a Mobile phone, that to me is a major security risk. Also, if they Tangem does release a Desktop app, please make it windows10 compliant, NOT the bloody awful Windows11 Bloatware. Or, make it compatible with other Desktop OS's such as Linux.
Personally I would always use the seed phrase option. If you don’t then you can’t get your assets if all the cards went missing or are defective. What would an EMP event do to these cards?
Agreed. I have an old set of Tangem cards that do not allow the seed phrase option and I cannot imagine using them for any kind of long term cold storage. Trusting that chip over an etched, steel seed phrase seems ludicrous.
I received my 3 tangem cards and went to activate the and I can't create the access code, it doesn't bring up the submit button. I click on the back button to start the process over and now it tells me that the initial card already has a wallet assigned to it and I have not yet created an access code for it, now I have no idea what to do with the 3 cards, I email support and hope they can give me a good explanation as to what happened, but this is pretty scary that I am already having a issue and not even used the card. I have a lot of crypto I was going to be storing on it and now I AM VERY CONCERNED!!!!!!!

The bigger issue is what are those companies doing with your information or the people they sell it to as well. The camera and mic on your phone is always on. always on. No, I’m simply using the Face ID authorization built into my phone. This does not send my biometrics to Tangem. You don’t have to use Face ID if you don’t want to.

By default on every wallet BTC and ETH is enabled nothing to worry about even if you do a factory reset you'll see BTC and ETH pop back up so long as you see no transactions or money on them you're good to go, you can also do a factory reset for peace of mind (this will result in a loss of assets if you're seedless so make sure to move them elsewhere before resetting)

@@craigg.2546 You can reset the cards in the settings. Tap the three dots in the top right. choose your wallet. choose device settings. They will want you to scan the card. After that you can factory reset the card. You will have to do this for each card in the set. If when you go into the settings it turns out you have two wallets, then delete one. Also you could delete the app and re-pair to your existing card set. This might require less effort. The first and only wallet in the app should be titled "Wallet" you can also rename this in the settings. By the way, you could just go into the settings and edit your wallet name from "Wallet 2" to "Wallet" if you want to.

I had not heard about this. But I’m assuming that this was a case of someone being unable to access their crypto and then asking Tangem for help by giving them their seed phrase or pin. If that’s the case, then that’s a failure on the part of the end user for not managing their crypto properly themselves. So basically it’s on them for giving that information to someone else. Like I said, I had not heard about this and I’m assuming that for business or regulatory purposes Tangem has to record this information. And I’m sure they’re not just handing the stuff out to other people. Once again, I had not heard about this and it sounds pretty far-fetched. Well, most phones are compatible with the tantrum cart. You just wanna make sure that the phone supports NFC, which stands for near field communication. There are a few phones out there that don’t support it but most of them do.
If you don’t choose to generate private keys, are you eternally relying on Tangem to be up and running or have an app? Whereas if you had private keys you could access your crypto if Tangem dissolves.
Hello. I have a discussion I would like to make about these cards. If I want to use a passphrase, the only option I could find on the Tangem documentation is to import an existing seed with the passphrase, however the practice of writing your seed phrase into your phone is strongly discouraged (not even talking about the passphrase which is a big NO NO). So currently, there is no viable option to have your seed protected using a Tangem without exposing it first. What is your take on it?

How do you sell the crypto for cash ? Do you have to send it to an exchange or can you cash out and send it to your debit card ?

What if you loose the cards?
Buy new cards and restore the walllets using your saved 12 words seed phrase. If you lost the phrase also, you are doomed. Lost forever.
If you go seedless, if you lose all three cards you lose your coins.

Well, most phones are compatible with the tantrum cart. You just wanna make sure that the phone supports NFC, which stands for near field communication. There are a few phones out there that don’t support it but most of them do.
So the tangen address always stay the same ? If so anyone can steal your coins?
how can someone steal your coins with only an address?
If you don’t choose to generate private keys, are you eternally relying on Tangem to be up and running or have an app?
Whereas if you had private keys you could access your crypto if Tangem dissolves.

I have a discussion I would like to make about these cards.
If I want to use a passphrase, the only option I could find on the Tangem documentation is to import an existing seed with the passphrase, however the practice of writing your seed phrase into your phone is strongly discouraged (not even talking about the passphrase which is a big NO NO).
So currently, there is no viable option to have your seed protected using a Tangem without exposing it first.
What is your take on it?
For that reason it's more a hot than a cold wallet. Wouldn't use it for large amounts.

Most people would think that your kislux bags are authentic because most people don't notice the difference! My husband bought me a LV for my birthday for $5000 and my friend bought a knockoff for about $60 and it looks exactly the same? I seriously can't believe it! You can go to add tokens at the bottom and search for Layer Zero. and then "add to portfolio". Make sure you toggle on BNB smart chain.
