I just yesterday got my new new Tangem 2.0 3 card wallet yesterday and sent my first transaction off the CEX. Went very smooth, and feels great to be holding it myself for the first time. How do you visually see your UTXO's on Tangem though? I haven't seen a video on that yet.

Since you can set up seed phrase, can you only use one card for a wallet? And use the 2nd card as a completely different wallet? So you have 2 seed phrases/wallets?
I bought the Tangem wallet which is now the classic earlier this year. We can still use the classic, I don't need the seed phase?
Hi Cryptodad, I have a question: can I start a tangem with my phrase from ledger wallet and do I then have all my funds in the tangem that I have in the ledger wallet?
The only issue I have with new wallets is the security exploits are never discovered early. It takes years and usage and eyeballs to stumble across them.
Always appreciate your content. Keep up the great work. I have noticed that there is a disproportionate number of videos on how to setup wallets and move digital assets into wallets. What is needed are videos showing the proper way to take profits from a wallet and move them into fiat in a bank account. If you would create a video showing how to do that, that would be a must see video and possibly a first of its kind.
Great point! Over the last year or so, I've always tried to make it a point to show not only how to fund the wallet, but how to transfer crypto out of the wallet. As far as when to take profits, that's more of a trading issue. I try to stay out of that kind of advice.
@CryptoDad Thanks. Yes, I'm not interested in when to take profit. But rather the process or steps from selling/converting to moving off a wallet into a traditional bank account for use.

@@anthonyputorek7095 well, as far as banks go, there aren’t too many that will accept crypto directly at least not yet. If you’re looking to cash out, your best option is a cryptocurrency exchange like Coinbase or Kraken. You can connect your bank account to those exchanges so that when you make trades for cash, you can withdraw directly to your bank.
I didn’t add those words on my Tangem accounts how to do them later after you add access code. Also, do we know what is a primary card on the Tangem account

I was reviewing my banks transactions and I noticed that the payment was made to a TANGEM SINGAPORE bank account, does that sound right? I mean isn't Tangem located in Switzerland?

Hello Crypto Dad. :-) Thank you for the great videos. The attention to detail is great. One of my concerns with setting up tangem with 3 cards is being able to actually test a scenario where I would have to use my backup cards. Would you be able to create a video showing how to replicate a scenario where for example one loses or has the their primary card stolen and now has to use their backup card(s) to actually get back to their crypto currencies. I personally don't use the new optional seed phrase with the 2.0 but I am presume the two different recovery scenarios (with seed phrase & without) would be similar . Thank and again much appreciated for the educational content you are providing all of us.
You can easily test out your backup card simply by using one to authorize an outgoing transaction. They will work just like your primary card.

There's a new version of the tangent app. that. includes transaction history. Although I'm not sure if there's a way to export that or not. I know it's a bit tedious, but you can go to the blockchain explorers to get your transaction history for any of the cryptos that you set up.

Sure about Casper, but I know you can store Hedra. on a ledger.

How did your transfer fee in ethereum network cost that low? I did my transfer on binance or bybit but it cost me around 6UDST as a transfer fee

I was able to restore a blank Tangem card using a 24 word recovery phrase from a different wallet. And it worked. I don't have any wallets that use 18 word recovery phrases. But I'm pretty sure it's possible.
Can you use the same phone to handle multiple Tangem wallets?
Can they be transferred to a bank account directly in the app?
Also not mentioned in the video, very important information: your phone needs to have the capability of communicating with an RFID chip. It is a functionality not available in all phones.

The best part about this is style of wallet is not needing to be at a computer to transact. I hate that about my ledger nano s. I can only go about my trades when I have my computer in front of me. feels very early 2000s. whereas I never leave the house without my wallet and my phone. so having a tangem card with me means I’m always about to make crypto transactions. securely. anywhere…. brilliant.

If i add another token after i hide my backup card and someday i lost both phone and my primary card, will my additional token appear in my backup cards?

You'll be able to use your card(s) for day to day access. The seed phrase is only a backup in case you lose your entire card set. In that case, you'll buy a brand new set and use the seed to restore.

Only the new card supports the backup and restore feature with the seed phrase. The older cards don't have that feature.

I am currently usiing Nano S (you helped me greatly diving up each crypto wallet for different purposes.) Can the Tangem also divide each wallet into several subwallets as Ledger can?) 2. You cannot create multiple accounts within each crypto. There's only one account for each crypto. When you set up the seed phrase it's very similar to the non seed phrase setup. You simply sync the cards up. You don't have to enter the seed phrase. You simply write it down when it's presented to you. And yes, you can see the total value of your portfolio at the top.
