Looks like an unchecked check-box (Allow repair in building) in the Vehicle Repair Station attached to the train depot could be contributing to the lack of repair work on some trains? (see 38:20 - 38:24)
Maybe you get this later but ALWAYS when you assign workers to a location always put a bus station at 0%, this way they will always work there unless it's full.. then they will go bus.. so they don't become unemployed.. there's really no downside.
the fire destroyed the firetrucks as well, thats why the firestation was empty.. you probably had recued amount of firefighters or no firefigthers if you distribute workers from the two stations

the problem you had with burning down buildings is because of maitanence, when a fire brakes out the maintenance % increases fast! so if your fire engine is taking too long it wil burn down quickly. for exampel when your building is at 50% maintenance then you only got 50 left before it breaks down due to fire.
Water going to the NPP doesn't have to be drinking quality, but it needs to meet a certain standard so it better stay away from nuclear waste. Don't ask how I know :D
When you accelerate the game with Ctrl, does the game simulation follow? Causing productivity problems in factories! You can cheat a little by buying aluminum on the Nato side and selling it in Rubles.
I think that as long as your getting a solid 60fps when on the normal 'fast' speed, it should be fine. If not, can cause issues or crashes. On my game, if I get a little lag spike while building/ selecting/ autosaving at the same time, sometimes I find something hasn't quite gone right, or messed itself, or train through a red signal blocking everything and you don't notice for 20 minutes AHHHhhhhh....... But then, was it a glitch caused by the faster speed or did I just forget and mess it up myself??????
trams will come later when the workplaces are built and there's a high demand for workers. it's a colossal waste of money to try get them now or any time soon, as the lines aren't fully electrified or built in some spots and the worker demand is easily satisfied by buses.
I see there is plenty of clothes (100 tonnes) just lying around. Not sure if it's bottlenecking production but anyway sell if so. Thanks for the series
I kind of lost track with the updates... will people move automaticaly to this dorm or do you have to move them by hand? Could you quickly explain how migration and dorms works right now? I can't find any good source for that.
They can move into dorms automatically, I believe it's the first choice for them when they turn 21 and want to move out (it's entirely possible that they move at 16 or 18, but it's automatically), you can also choose to move them, which is helpful in the beginning.
Thx a lot. @@bballjo I could find in my game that some citizens wich could not fullfill all their needs are far more likely to migrate around the map. Sometimes you find one or two people living in a new building and they complain about crime, medical or other things right away. Would be so cool to find out all the parameters for migration...
Migration doesn't have any parameters...once a person is ready to move out (they turn 21) they will look for a free apartment around the map at random, that's it. If they lived in a dorm, they do the same after they graduate.
Regarding the education problem in your first city, you seem to be getting very few students into the universities. Is this related to having too few young people with basic education, having too high loyalty set for students in the universities, something else?
The police station gets cases only via cop cars, i.e. nobody turns themselves in by walking into the station saying "my crime rating is high, please interrogate me". One of the biggest issues with crimes is when they don't get solved....if you have 2x the cars, 2x the cases come in, and the queue has a potential of growing too fast, which will cause issues, also having only a few cases, but full workers means they all get done faster, and it's a safer setup
43:55 How how how? I told you 3 epidosed ago when you were building the city over and over again without citizens in that those firetrucks are gone due to they perishing in a fire of some house in the city. You just never replaced them since then, because you pre-record so much and my comments haven´t helped. Also my vacation last week when I am trying to catch up won´t help mush, either, but regarding your yesterday post - this is one of the reasons you should lower the recording->airtime gap from 2 weeks length. Because we like to help you, but have no chance.
BTW regarding hazardous waste - just put a small incinerator as an input to "dump of separation plant" and give it a small dump as its own input (and an unloading place for everyone in general). This can process it easily. And even more, you can then import hazardous waste from customs as well and burn it for money and as long as all mixed ashes are going through separation process in the end, you will get more scraps from your separation facilities you have on the way to main incinerator. Have fun! :)

Thanks for showing how the halls of residence work: My experience is to build them and see them empty for the lenght of my playtrough!

That's could be a nice intro 🙂
I usually have the first few citizen moving into an empty residential building with low health.. That's with high, overall health..
Having no water reservoir for nuclear power plant when power gets cut from pumps, what could go wrong, right ? 😅

That's what that little overflow inlet on the lake is for 😁

Generally, no, the simulation breaks, which is why it's not anything but a debug feature, and therefore not advertised.
Is the streetcar/tram between the nuclear area and the city up yet? if not, when will it be?

It is so hard to watch that the loyalty is to high so you dont get enough students
Where?
@@bballjo ua-cam.com/video/inPPGxfKc_I/v-deo.html I can see that minimal government loyalty for students is 63 %. That is to high.

im curious doe it matter on how cop cars are in ur police station cause u only have 4 of 8 half capacity

I have a question. Will you also buy cars for the citizens of your state?
At some point, maybe...but they won't play a significant role...
@@bballjo One Czech UA-camr said that they also increase confidence in the government. Is it true?
Yes, they give a 10% loyalty bonus...
@@bballjo Thank you very much for the answer. 🥰

Definitely for the next chemical setup
