OK dude, question. How tall are you? I ask because after 3 years of cello playing I am still trying to find that 'sweet spot' of how long the end pin needs to be and at what angle to rest the cello body. I watch different cellist and how they hold their cello, and I know everyone is different, but I was trying to establish a frame of reference since we look similar in body height and build, but difficult to tell for sure in your videos. Man, I gotta start playing more tunes by ear like you; I bet it'll help with me playing in tune better. Anyhow, cheers dude.
Hello! I’m sorry for the late response:/ I am 6’3” although it may seem like the specific height makes a huge difference, I can tell you for a fact it doesn’t! The height always changes a little. Generally, if I play faster stuff I leave it a tad taller. Slower stuff may be a little lower! As long as you are genuinely comfortable and having a good time playing the audience can feel your positive energy and that’s what matters most! Keep shredding! Thank you for the kind words!
