In all sectors of technology, Tesla's are by far one of the most advanced devices the public can purchase, esp at these prices. it is actually astonishing the level of computing power etc that Tesla owners unwittingly own and access. At this point the tires are the most antiquated aspect, esp with micro plastic research coming out.

Toyota alone recalled 5.5 million vehicles for two different stuck accelerator issues over a two-year span (2009-2011). Millions of Toyotas is more than the hundreds of Teslas... I'll add some more brands to my edit: Ford: 1999, recalled 984,600 stuck ACC pedal. Chrysler: 2010, recalled 35,000 stuck ACC P. GM: 2009, recalled MILLIONS stuck ACC P. Mazda: 2001, recalled 215,000 stuck ACC P. The list goes on and on for most brands.

@skylerity the main difference is under the steel is more steel, so when you scratch it, there isn't an obvious color difference. It scratches pretty easily actually.
I only had this truck for 1 week and I've taken off road long distance and commuted in it. This truck is going to kill the industry. Just wait until other people drive it. It's over! Until then, watch the people complain without the experience. GUARANTEED! 🎉

@@skylerity Not quite a man but an old lady here! Yes, this will be the 5th launch and chopsticks are already at Boca Chica, it's going to be an awesome viewing if the chopsticks will be in use. Public can't get any closer than 3 1/5 miles from the launch site, last time (3rd launch) I camped at Raptor Roost but this time I'm planning on Isla Blanca Park where you need a truck to tackle the sandy base.

@@skylerity There were many using tents at the camp, also you may try to rent a small towable RV to give your family a comfortable area to sleep in. Caution,! Do not let your kids go anywhere near the grassy areas including if you have a dog, chiggers are everywhere.

Once in a lifetime opp I didn’t want to pass up. We’re really enjoying the truck. V2 will be even more incredible!

Have they improved the build quality? I had a model 3 dual motor a few years ago and turned it when the lease was up. The trunk leaked due to fitment issues, after the 3rd try, they fixed it but not before it smelled like mildew. Tesla refused to replace the carpet. One of the rear door cards popped off for no reason, hood alignment was off both fixed. It was an okay car but should not of had those issues especially for the price. I went back to BMW after the lease was up.
@@fred420 build quality has greatly improved. My Model 3 and Y I had since 2021 were basically flawless. One minor issue with some moisture in a taillight that they fixed for free. Cybertruck has a few kinks as it’s the beginning of production but nothing major.

I’m totally confused here. First I see that the windshield wiper is on the passenger side now I see the charger on the right side (passenger) and the controls for the bed are on the right side as well. What is going on here??
@@Frank_W. all of those are on the driver side. It’s just that Apple automatically mirrors the front facing camera on the iPhone and causes an inverted perspective. I didn’t bother to flip all the footage in editing but maybe I will next video for visual consistency.
They look a lot cooler in person than the video shows. It’s hard to portray the scale and width of them. I like the design. Not overdone. But I can understand if you like other tires.
