Nice review.
It's the best truck I've ever owned. No contest!
I love the durability of the truck. I saw a video of thieves using a window breaking tool on the cybertruck. They tried the side window, rear window, climbed on top the ceiling, and couldn't get inside. 😂
Btw, do you plan to wrap or ceramic coat yours so you don't have to clean it as much?
Yup, for sure more rugged than my Tundra. I like the military look of stainless but I may wrap it when I figure out the look I like. Cleaning it is the only PITA thing about the truck. Since I'm still honeymooning, I wipe it down weekly with Barkeepers Helper and use Cyberwax which goes on super easy, kind of like coconut oil and no need to buff out.
lol!!!!! those must have been beginners lol! a broken piece of spark plug will easily overcome the glass! they didnt even tried, also durability based on what exactly?!
@@carholic-sz3qv Tesla glass is stronger than any other, read up as you are very uneducated on their tech but yes, spark plug ceramic will do that to any glass.
Actually the Cybertruck is more like 9 power walls :)
A powerwall 3’s capacity is 13.5kwh. The Cybertruck has a ~123kwh capacity battery.
Also PowerShare doesn’t use the 240v plug in the back. You need the Tesla Universal Power charger and it goes through the charging port (in reverse obviously).
But these are extremely minor details from your video.
I also think, for everything it is offering, it is the best truck for most people who don’t tow a lot very far.
Thanks for the clarification those were the numbers I read online and I'm still waiting for the installing to my home
This would not work as a farm truck. This truck is made for city boys.
It works fine as a farm truck! And no more weekly trips to town to fill it up.
How easy is driver access to the front seat? I'm 73, 6'-3" and not as flexible as I used to be. I just got my invitation to order but I'm reluctant to order without sitting in one. (By the way, Hi from Irmo!) Thanks.
I'm 5'8", but I raised my seat all the way up. I would think you'd be ok as there is a lot of room but if you are nearby, you can check out mine.
50 year truck owner, roofing contractor for 40 years in Los Angeles..Had i owned a CT id of never of needed the 5 trucks I’ve owned and it would of paid for itself and eliminated numerous problems…Once the price comes down it will be the Ultimate Vehicle for construction…
Glad to hear from other truckers who know just what it costs to maintain these!

Not to mention the lack of smog checks..Great video..
What do you think about its competitors, the Rivian R1T, the Ford F-150 Lightning, and the Silverado EV?
@@katherinesilens2994 I have friends with the Rivian and Ford versions who love them and they all have the EV benefits of lower TCO. For me there are 3 reasons why I prefer the CT: 1) FSD - my wife has a M3 and Full Self Driving is AMAZING! I cannot stress that enough and is my #1 reason for Tesla 2) 0-60 in 2.6 gives me the sport car feel while the all wheel steering is THE game changer and why I focused on it in the video 3) it's Tesla! I'm of the thinking this company is still just on the verge of being HUGE. Of all car companies, I know they will be around longer than others. Just my opinion but My wife's M3 is 5 years old and we are drinking the Kool Aid from the firehose because of what we experience first hand
lol!!!!!! what a joke! its not a machine for construction! for construction you actually need a vehicle with a very well accessible bed and all the flexibility they offers. in fact vans are better for construction than trucks and europe shows the example very well.
Did I see you at the shareholders meeting? Anybody tell you that you look like Bobby Valentine?
I missed shareholders meeting as I was watching the market with TSLA HITTING THE STRATOSPHERE!!!! I can see the Bobby V look, not some of the others I was told (Eddie Van Halen and Bill Mahr)
Great, no hype review!! Thanks sir!!!
Thanks! About the only negative thing I can say is keeping it clean is more difficult but I like the metal look
Great information, thank you.
Great review Mark😊
thank you! Many CT owners are first time truck owners, just wanted people to know that long time truck owners can easily fall in love with tihs
Great explanation Mark!
Hey Mark - Drove a Cyber Truck for a week and was very impressed. Never had so much attention from the public. Unreal! BUT I just bought a Rivian Tri-max truck (850hp) - it's far superior in many ways than the Cyber Truck, including looks.
@@TheVacationRentalCoach The steering by wire is very impressive and handled like a dream - despite the clunky looks. Topped out at 114 mph - the handling on mountainous roads was amazing and stable. - YEEHAW!
@@jf1890 Saturday did an OTA update and the turning radius got cut another 1.6' !!!!
Yeah there's no way I'm picking an R1T over Cybertruck thats hilarious 😂
@@paradigmshift7 It's not a bad truck but the lack of FSD is a very good reason to stay Tesla
21:09 20k maintenance per year for your old truck? Remind me to never use your mechanic. 😅
Those are dealer numbers here in SC. I only use dealers and keep all receipts so when I sell my vehicle I get maximum resale value.
@@ericknighton7881nope, that tundra costs 20k a year in oil changes, tune ups and gas
that has to be the biggest lie on internet! if a truck needs 20,000 for yearly maintainance were you driving a ford f700 or what?! where you driving a semi?!
@@TheVacationRentalCoach still thats a lie! they have been ripping you apart what a joke!
the level of ignorance in this video is just staggering! if youre really a truck owner youll know that chevrolet had the quadrasteer almost a decade ago with all wheel steering, the hummer EV truck had all steering, in fact tons and tons of vehicles including sport and some bigger trucks have up to 3 steering axles, 48v system is nothing ahead of anything! literaly any car makers can do it, in europe they also have 24v for long time.
HAD key word HAD, they dropped it and that was their mistake. Europe on 24 volt is fine but it's 2024 and with all the tech in cars, 48v is a must yet ALL American manufacturers are stuck on 12v and if you'd read up, it's very much ahead of its time, that's why Tesla made it open source and shared it. Don't hate ICE
Chevrolet's Quadrasteer doesn't have steer by wire, big difference! The Chevy doesn't compare off-road. The Chevy doesn't drive like a sports car. And Chevrolet will never have Tesla software (and that matters a lot). The Chevy is about 25 years behind.
And your ignorance is not understanding, THEY DON'T HAVE IT ANYMORE because they couldn't do it right. The Hummer has crab walk, not steer by wire. 48v is a BIG DEAL after over 50 years of only 12v, it needs to update. Your head is stuck in the past.
@@ZipZoomZip he's just a hater who doesn't realize that GM is about 10 years away from going under
@@TheVacationRentalCoach A lot of people can't imagine GM going bankrupt. Which is surprising considering GM already went bankrupt in 2009 and shareholders lost everything. If not for the financial support of the US government, GM wouldn't even exist today. Because they are an inefficient and outdated corporation. I'm guessing the United States citizens and elected officials won't have the stomach to do it again. It's the old "fool me once, shame on me," ....
Nope.
An EV truck may not be for you but in my 35 years of truck ownership, I'm not going back to ICE
@@TheVacationRentalCoach It's your money to waste. I owned an EV for years and went back to ICE. Other than acceleration, there is nothing on this truck you can't get from a 2003 GMC Sierra with Quadrasteer which MSRP'd at $30K.
@@rotaryenginepete Not our first EV and I wouldn't buy a 21 year old truck when I can buy new and get a ton of tax savings.
@@TheVacationRentalCoach where is the proof you owned trucks for 35 years!? just because you posted anything on internet everyone should believe you?! i dont really get how can someone own trucks for decades that makes absolutely no sense! in Europe most people have much smaller vehicles and rent a van to haul big stuffs or to move, owning big vehicles is just a waste!
I got my Cybertruck for a month now and I love my truck.
Same… absolutely love my CT
congrats
