My Garmin Watch tracks all my exercise sessions..so I track each DG session. And I can tell you from the stats that it is MUCH more exertion to play in the snow...the deeper the harder..
Glad to see this. This shows me how OS they really really are, but the driver is touchy, as Ulli also turned his first shot over and you had a couple get away too. Yes, Innova is completely lazy. Not for not having a decent sized team but they don’t have any of their players doing any promotion or content at all, ever. They do more Millennium than anything. wth. They could have done any of a dozen things with Ken to utilize him, not just a unique disc line. As he said in an interview, he just threw Innova discs, these are discs he actually had some input on.
I wouldn't call it laziness by Innova but instead an effort to get younger. MVP seems way more focused on personalities than top talent while Discraft is singing every person ever. It will be interesting to see how it all pans out in 5-10 years. Oddly enough I think each company is making the best decision for their unique situations. Innova doesn't think they need a long list of big names to sell discs and they're probably right. Discraft has never been top dog so they're swinging for the fences to get there. MVP is going for a hip vibe even though their entire mpo team is a bunch of dorks (i mean that lovingly) It has certainly become a 3 headed monster with a few other companies fighting over the scraps.
@@ericjepson3765 give it time. He's a little more than half some of these guys age. If he stays healthy and dominant, in a couple years he will be popular like Mcbeth. Paul has the on camera personality of a wet rag but his dominant career gained him popularity.
innova has been around a long time and I think they could see the writing on the wall before the other brands and they chose not to over extend themselves during the covid boom. This has allowed them to pick up Viano and KJ mid season and they sponsor a lot of juniors probably the number 1 way to grow the sport and put innova plastic in kids hands for there first disc. Discraft got the deal of a lifetime picking up Paul before covid allowing them to make big dollars selling Pauls discs whether it be 4 claws or his disc line, which is why they have been able to grab up everybody this season. But even the discraft fan boys are not buying plastic so we will see if all this doe Discraft is shelling out pays off in the years to come.
Innovas doing great. With all due respect to climo, discraft is putting a lot of money into something that just isn’t innovative. Would love to see how many people are actually bagging this stuff 1-2 years from now
@ discraft is marketing a “new” line of discs that essentially already exist with minor tweaks to plastic type. Please enlighten me. On an interview his claim of a new feature was a “new laser polishing”. Is that supposed to get me hyped up to by an esp roc3?
@@lostfull5796 what they are doing to Ken that Innova hasn’t done is bring him back to the sport, where he should be. Innova has not done anything with him for so long. The dood deserves to be treated like a champ. He is a pioneer in disc golf. I will definitely support that.
It sucks they lost Ken, Jerm, Joel and the others, but I think they are focusing on releasing really great discs as opposed to their touring pros. They have Calvin and Ohn, just signed Weathermann, who is amazing. I think they are going to keep their team as is, trim the fat with the less productive players or the big contracts that aren't showing a lot of ROI and sell the shit out of some really doog discs. I mean, cannot deny they make the best discs on the market.
Hmm, they invented something that someone was going to invent within a few years regardless, like a can opener, nothing special. I guess someone could argue one can opener is better than the other, that's what we are doing here.
I'm with you, I'd does feel like Innova is falling behind MVP and Discraft.
The sled 😂😂
I’ve said it before but I always watch your videos first Max, good stuff.
Thanks Bill!
Ordered the “skyway” and a jersey and hoodie

Discmania casually over there in the corner with the probable best player in the world.
@chucksherron No "probably" aboit it, but he's also one of the least popular players.

Theyre my favorite dorks 😂
Would have loved to see innova hook up Climo and Shultz with something. We need to lift up our former champions and show them the respect they deserve
Innova don't give a fuck about any players. Innova sells discs, man. And they do it well.

What are the odds that you found a Watt on hole 2 or a PA-5 on 18? 😅
Sorry man I did not

Great vid Max. And absolutely, innova makes amazing discs but absolutely awful decisions.

@ they’re doing exactly what innova does. Slapping his name on a disc line for a marketing campaign.
