You are amazing! I just found your website. Such beautiful coloring.....you are so skilled. I have learned so much! And music to relax by when coloring. Thank you!
This was an extraordinary video, and your color choices look so wonderful together. It is a welcome change from the ones where everything has to be super bright to a more subtle and yet rich looking, vintage color palette. It appeared to be the same type of palette as the other pictures on the page, making all of them look very complementary to each other. I would love to know how you made your white pen lay down on the mushroom white spots looking as dimensional as whip cream. I saw that it was a Gelly Roll, classic 08, medium point Gel pen by Sakura. It looked as though you dotted it down instead of rolling it over the paper. I would love to know how to do that. Thank you for working so hard to help me to relax while watching you create such a lovely picture. It really helped me to cope with some medical pain I am having.
Hi Dee, thank you so much for watching, I’m so glad you like the colour palette. I love earthy tones. Yes, you’re right in regards to how I lay down the white Gelly roll. I usually prefer the 0.5 size, but mine has dried up, so to get a similar effect with the 08 size, I use very light mini strokes. Almost like dotting it down, while only barely touching the paper. I decided to talk about this in my new video coming out later today (the fox from this page), as I figured more people might like to know as well.
got my Derwent Drawing pencils! I love the color range and the fact that you only need to whisper them to the paper:) Thank you for this gorgeous video.
O Thank you so much to explain burnishing and blending. I asked you the question of the difference and you answered but listening to you, I understand much better. Corinne. Is it undiscret to ask how do you know about colouring so well ?
I’m so glad to hear it made sense when explaining. The secret to get better at colouring is just lots of practice. As we all eventually develop our own style, watching tutorials by lots of different people will teach you lots of different ways to approach colouring. Then you pick bits and pieces you like from each person, and practice again and again. You will learn so much, and you’ll be able to look back at your earlier work and see how far you come 🩷🩷🩷
