I was never a Harley guy, having owned about 30 bikes over the past 30 years I tried the low rider ST and boy I found my girl… couldn’t help but buy one, happiest biker in the world, the perfect bike for me today, grunt looks style v2 sound timeless = love
I like the look and the thought HD has put into the ST models. Starting from scratch it would be a great option but for me I have done so much to my SGS that it would make more sense to just do a stage II.
Stage 2 it, let's gooooo! www.BlockheadGarage.com and we'll get you on the schedule! We just got 132hp out of a Stage 2, Chris hand built the map for it, came out beast! 🔥
I love, love, LOVE the Road Glide! I miss my '18 RG Standard terribly, but we sold it to accelerate getting out of non-mortgage consumer debt. I'll get another RG, but I'll probably first get a sub-$10k bike to satiate me until I can save up and pay cash for another RG when the market settles down(RG prices are ridiculous right now - I see local shops asking near full original retail for 2018 RG's in the Dallas market). As for whether or not you should get one, it's a absolutely great bike. Getting one this year would really depend on your financial situation. If you're heavily leveraged, you'd be adding another $35-40k (out the door) of debt to the ledger, if you're financing it. Of course, if there's a way to write off the payment as a business expense, then it may be worth considering. Great video!
Had one for 4 days in AZ a month ago and it ran kind of funky for the first tank or two. I think the previous renter returned it with low 87 octane fuel and as I worked in the premium fuel it ran much better. Decent bike though, ran and rode great. 👌
Thank you for the video! I’m glad stepping away from the 9-5 has given you more freedom to do events like this one. To be able to do all that you do is impressive and I appreciate the time and energy y’all put into the content for us. Keep ‘em coming Blockhead!
Hey Block. Been a long while since I commented, but I absolutely agree with your comments about Harley listening to its consumers. I think it's clear that the are finally paying attention to what we're doing. I truly believe this will help Harley moving into the future. Thanks for doing what you do. I am truly happy for your growth and success. Keep going.

I appreciate your videos man. Pulled me out of a pinch a couple of times on installs. Have been looking for a solid road glide ST video for awhile. Thank you
After getting hurt real bad and not being able to bend enough for sport bikes I'm gna try and upgrade from my grom clone 50cc hard after riding 600s. Love you guys bless u all
Great video, wouldn’t expect anything less. It’s great seeing everyone’s take and view on these bikes. Too bad you couldn’t have brought Goldzilla there and taken it on the track. Better yet, see the Wynan brothers put it through the paces. You definitely need a Road Glide Blockhead!
Finally a 117 in other bikes. Horsepower from the factory standard vs making additional after purchase it previous Harley’s. Engines are the most expensive to mod for horsepower. Now Harley needs to make more carbon replacement parts to lighten the bike.
Put pen to paper and calculate costs. Take a standard Electra Glide Standard, SG or RG. Upgrade to Stage 4 plus upgrade clutch, tuner and exhaust (cam depending on your style of riding). You end up with power and better parts. Even the 128 is close to the 131 in the numbers so buying a used SG or RG with 107 and upgrading, you're still going to enjoy it. Then go from there depending on how you want to customize it for looks and sound. Now compare that to buying a SGS, RGS or one of these STs and upgrading. Even bumping up one of these models to Stage 2 is more bang for the buck and fun going down the road. It all depends on how much money you want to drop. The best thing in my opinion is having many options to chose from to build out. Me personally, upgrading the suspension will always be the first upgrade. I'm sure we can all agree stock suspension is sub-par for any type of style of riding. *** Rusty from D&D exhaust bought a Electra Glide Standard and built it out to performance bagger. I rode with him before and it's a beast. Don't overlook that option.
Definitely can see this in a block head garage as a blockhead personal build.nice bike to build as a performance touring bike.i personally own a built street glide and road glides are sweet to build to 👍
After owning a Victory Cross Country and now Indian Challenger I say baggers are the trucks of the motorcycle world as far a usability and versatility. A Mustang GT is sleek and fast but my F150 with a 5.0 sounds just as good and I can do so much more with it. Just saying...
I just sat on one today. A test ride will be in the future, but not yet cause I can't afford to get one yet. I just wanted to feel the weight, and I really thought it would be heavier than what it felt.
Great videos! You're learning how to ride and review videos are awesome! Just got my first bike and can't wait to get out and learn. Yellowstone and 1883 for the win!

if i was single id already have it still in my garage lol but id get the low rider st!!i have a 2021 iron so ima build that n pay it off before getting the low rider st
Granted a Corbin will run you up to $800 but the difference in saddle time comfort becomes priceless on those long trips. Problem is, once you try it, you won't want to ride without one.
I’ve got a Corbin Classic Solo on my Fatty and it’s a hard, uncomfortable pile of shit. I would not buy another one… ever! Must be different on their baggers?
Hey I know this video has been out a while but how much head buffeting did you experience on Road Glide version of the bike? Great video I love the channel!!!!!!!!
Harley needs to get their act together when it comes to handlebars. It seems they always put stock bars where your arms are at a downward angle when riding...unless you switch out the bars where your arms can be parallel with the road. For the money we pay, you think they'd do it right in the first place.
Someone tell me I shouldn't trade in my 18 107 road glide special for one of these 😅 I am honestly torn. Mine has a Heavy Breather, TBR shorty exhaust, and an s&s 465 cam. Would it be worth upgrading?
Tell you you shouldn’t? Nah. Do it! 😂 I’ve never ridden a 107 with a cam. But the difference Stock between the 107 & 117 is noticeable. Throw a stage 2 on the 117? Wooo 🙌🏻
It’s a beautiful bike, but I wonder if I’m just holding my breath for a touring bike equipped with as much tech and suspension as the pan America.. 2023?

At least enough power from the factory. No additional expensive Stage 3-4. Harley always pushing for power that should be stock from the factory. Not thousands more after the purchase.
As much as I love you don’t move here. Too many people are moving here and ruing it! Rent is outrageous and buying a house is 4x over what the houses ar worth.
I really like the ST models, however, I think they should have come with a more aggressive handlebar from the factory. Anything besides the garden tiller bar to really set this thing apart from the other models.

Not a fan of the Road Glide or any of the new ST models. Also don't like the Primer Gray color. I think Harley should put the new Revolution engine in one and make a real performance bagger.

KotB is another thing that happened the last two years that made me re-evaluate my opinion of Harley, literally was my favorite race of the season including MotoGP! Super crazy that they're only like 15s behind hyperbikes, legit can't imagine ripping a cruiser that fast.
Me either but I’m definitely looking at them now…they create so many options and styles for what you want to do…I’ve been a Yamaha sports bike rider…but now looking for distance and comfort it’s gonna be Indian or Harley and right now after these reviews…it’s turning into a one bike race…especially if they are willing to listen to consumers…great review as always…coming down to Florida next month, very excited to stop by your shop and meet you and the guys (Mr.) Blockhead…
The Panam is about the ugliest damn bike on the market.
That intro tho…that was some great cinematography and editing. Looked better than a commercial
Thanks Joe! H-D has some really great videographers to help us capture content!
Not a fan of the Road Glide or any of the new ST models. Also don't like the Primer Gray color. I think Harley should put the new Revolution engine in one and make a real performance bagger.
If you have the chance to review the new Ultra Limited, I'd be _very_ interested. 😊
