- When a Minecrafter finally beats the Ender Dragon, it is rewarded with the End Poem. Two metaphysical beings have a dialogue about the player and the universe. Lines of text scroll over the screen for 9 minutes - so most players just skip over it.
This film adaptation gives the End Poem of Minecraft the attention it deserves.

WOW. just wow! it was a really deep and effective 5 minutes. if I'm not wrong it refers to the two god-like figures talking at credits. it was outstanding for a Minecraft short! enjoyed every second of it

Dude, this is a poetic masterpiece...
So even our reality is a dream we'll all our realities are dreams
It means that we only see a small part of reality in the “dream” of our lives. The universe is infinite. Constantly expanding. There are billions of galaxies that humanity will never see. Billions of years of existence in which we did not exist and billions in the future when we also will not exist. Places humans cannot go. Then there are places we can go, but us as individuals never will. We are constrained by the technology of our time. Us as individuals, we may never make it past our solar system. Or, for most of us, even past the borders of our own planet. There are even places on our own planet we will never see. We only see a minuscule fragment of what reality has to offer.
But we are connected to it all. The forces the poem describes by many names. The forces embodied in the narrators of the poem. These forces connect us to everything, even the ones we dont see. Everything in existence is ruled by these forces, including us. Therefore we are part of this reality.
I love the Minecraft end poem so much and you just did justice to it. Bravo 👏👏☺️
