How I like to think of it, when I skate forwards my weight is towards the back of my blade and when I’m skating backwards, my weight is towards the ball “front part of my blade” but not scratching on my toe picks. When I do any turns my weight goes back and forth in my blade depending on which turn I’m doing. I hope this helps ❤️❤️❤️
