The Week with Two was a short, weekly preview of programmes to come on TV2 (now TVNZ 2) during the early 1980s. It initially screened at around 6.50pm on a Sunday night before moving to Saturday nights and changing its name to The Week with 2 by 1982 and then Preview 2 by 1983.
Meanwhile, The Week with One was presented in much the same manner as The Week with Two and gave viewers a sneak peek of what's coming up on TV One (now TVNZ 1) over the next week. It was shown on Friday nights until around 1985.

Wow, this is a very rare find (especially the "TWO" ident).

I think nearly all them programmes are from the BBC or ITV in Britain. It seems very similar to what Irelands second channel did, RTE 2, in the early years (1978 to about 1981). They mainly showed BBC and ITV programmes in their schedules. Just to say, I’ve nothing against it. New Zealand was similar to Ireland when it came to television. We only had one channel (RTE 1, formerly just Telefis Eireann) until November 1978, then two channels for 18 years until Telefis an Gaeltachta (T na G) opened in 1996 and even then, you had to buy a new aerial to receive (from what I read). TV3 opened in October 1998, giving us 4 channels, although it was originally planned to only be available on the MMDS system (this was a system to broadcast cable channels to areas that didn’t have cable (outside the main towns and cities)). The only good thing going for Ireland is that we could pick up British channels (BBC 1, BBC 2, ITV and Channel 4 / S4C (from 1982 on)) from Wales or Northern Ireland, or if you were lucky, you had a cable system in the town you lived in.
