@@zachjohnson637 Sparks had a major influence on Queen's albums from Sheer Heart Attack to Jazz maybe even to News of the World though Queen's first album was out Sparks had released 2 already and ther 3rd album influenced Queen a lot.
@@Russy05 But says who? None of the members of Queen have claimed they were influenced by Sparks. Perhaps there were some similarities in the tongue in cheek nature of some of their songs, but there were also similarities with Roxy Music, Brian Eno, and other art/glam rock bands.
Absolute wildness. Russel kept on singing -- even being a bit distracted. Thank you for posting this. New Sparks album in a few months! About 50 years later.. (posted 3/23)
Thank you very much for your reply! I really wanted to buy a dvd or cd of these concerts! There is one full concert on UA-cam, but unfortunately it is not on sale! It's in black and white! However, the concert is simply killer! It's a pity that it hasn't been reissued yet!
Yes this is what Queen was born from
Queen had already been around for 5 years at this point…
queen sucks ass

What a trouper Russell is! There's no stopping Croydon girls when they spot a boiler suit.
Russell got throttled so much during this concert but always managed to pick up the song!
Also having Tony Visconti at the desk helps. Legend.
what the hell was in the water!!! Ron smiling at the insanity was so silly and self aware though. poor russell
its actually hilarious how russell kept on getting trampled, poor guy got tackled again at the very end HAHA. love the chaos of it all.

Cool! I really want to buy a full-scale concert from the years 74-76, there are many collections, but I haven't seen a full live on sale

It's as though Gilbert+George joined the New York Dolls...
What kind of accent is that?
Huh….? 😮
What kind of electric piano does Hitler play?
His right hand is on an RMI Electra-piano, his left is on a Solina string ensemble synth
