This is how you interview celebrities. His questions are great!!! He’s inside the head of the fan not the industry. The celebrities liked him too and were engaging. He’s really good!
This interviewer has no soul...in the figurative sense. He follows an answer to a question with another question like he never wanted to know the answer to the previous one. Seems very uninterested and forced.
Joseph Xuereb I was literally about to comment and say the same thing. He asked some very good questions and was invested in the conversation the whole time... not sure what the other two doofuses are talking about in your comment box.
I have the same thoughts but slightly skewed. He shows compassion in the end because he seen he was being beat twice...and it's not worth it...Remember what Rocky said to Adrian before the fight? "But to beat me he's gonna have to kill me, and to kill me he's gotta have the guts to stand in front of me, and to do that he's gotta be willin to die himself." When he seen his son hurt and defensless and Adonis going on and on to the point where he would kill him, it's the exact reverse...he almost witnessed what he did to Apollo but to his son...he threw in the towel. Rocky didn't....it's a great movie...I just watched it twice...it's been a while lol
@Zurround100 I think the closest I've seen in real life where one fighter was even close to being that much bigger than the other was Tito Ortiz (6'2, 205lbs) vs Alexander Storm Shlemenko (5'11, 185). Alexander gained the extra weight so he could fight at Tito's weight class (light heavyweight)... and got knocked the fuck out :P
Nah. Dolph shrank with age and is a tiny bit smaller than Big Nasty who is legit 6'4. There is no upper limit in heavyweight boxing. A guy can be like barely over 200 pounds and his opponent could be somed juiced up 6'6 275 pound Mexican druglord.
Watching Dolph speak about Ivan Drago is surreal lol. I grew up watching Rocky 4 and Ivan Drago was the ultimate villain in my eyes lol! One of the main reasons I'm excited about the new movie is the fact that Drago actually speaks and has a much bigger role! Can't wait!
I wanted them to have more dialogue!! It seemed as thought they were mute until the dinner party scene. But oddly enough, I felt like their story was more compelling than Creed and Rocky and their father/son scenes.
This is absolutely the best interviewer I’ve ever seen: you can feel how really interested he is in the movie, how he wants to know about it and the actors’ experience....and how much the actors love and enjoy that (by the long, detailed answers they give).
Kevin McCarthy is a very good Reporter for Entertainment in The DMV area. Well know to Us on DC Fox 5. He started on The Sports Junkies. 106.7 The Fan radio.
I’m really cheering on Jordan. He’s an incredibly talented, charismatic young actor. I genuinely wish hope he has a bright career and future. He seems like a nice young man.
Its crazy just how iconic rocky movies are. These movies are great but i feel like everyone will always remember the 3 mains from Rockys; Apollo, Lang, and Drago. Drago and Creed having such a big story they bring their sons to fight eachother in this creed movie. Man this series will always be my favorite and Im glad I got to live in the time of the Rockys and Creeds
Viktor had a look....whenever he stared anyone down his burning hatred and just raw anger really added flavor to his character...he was brutal and big!!
@@ΛοχαγοςΣταικος If there were spoilers.. they would've said so prior. They didn't spoil anything. They talked about how things were made and shot behind the camera.
There's something I really like about Tessa, she comes across so eloquently and has a great sense of humour. She's very direct and confident with her answers too ❤️
I think that I'd have act 1 kind of blended with the end of Creed 2 timeline, so you get the end of Creed v Drago 2, the Rocky Adonis farewell fist bump, the deleted scene "we're more than just one fight", then maybe, doesn't have to be, but maybe Rocky and the Creeds back at Mary Anne's place with Rocky saying that he's going to go up to Vancouver to see his son, then Rockys last Creed 2 scene, don't need to replay Adonis and fam at Apollo's grave. Family drama for a while, Adonis has for whatever reason a fight in Canad at the end which Rocky, his son and grandson can attend from the crowd as Rockys ending cameo, maybe a brief stare, nod or fistbump shared between Rocky and Donnie but they don't need to share a major scene. The franchise acknowledges and honours Sly and Rocky, closes out his story, and becomes Creeds franchise.
It was really cool to see an interview with Dolph Lundgren about Ivan Drago,I've never really heard a whole lot from Dolph about his Drago character in Rocky IV so it always made Drago seem like that much more of a mysterious character.
Even though this is a few years ago, hats off to the reporter for asking great questions and keeping the interview professional and enjoyable. Excellent.
This guy is great! Must be refreshing as well for the actor to answer questions from someone that's obviously a film fan asking curious questions. Good job bro!
I've heard good things about this sequel. The rocky legacy just keeps going. Incredible cinematic feat. I feel like not too many franchises have stood the test of time like this. Gotta give respect to the African American filmakers that have revived the Rocky Saga.
I think they should of did Drago movies instead of Creed.. I feel like creed is reaching too far for storylines. That Russian point of view seemed a lot more interesting
I don't think there should be a creed 3 . I love the series but this just seems too much cause how long can you cling onto nostalgia. I agree this should have been saved for a later time in the series tho.
Hey!! Great job Kevin!! I met you during the press junket for "Logan" in New York City last year when I had to honor of interviewing the actors and director, too, like you did. Despite my Wolverine appearance and love for that character, ROCKY has actually been my favorite fictional character of all-time since my late childhood in the early 80s, so I wish I could have been invited for this press junket, too. Again, great job!
Great interviews! He asks questions people want to know. The cast seem like nice people. I’ve always been a fan of Dolph, I was a kid that liked the bad guys, Vader in Star Wars and Drago,Creed and Lang in Rocky. Vader and Drago were my favorites as well as the Heels in the WWF back then. I remember arguing with other kids that Drago should have kicked Rocky’s butt when that movie came out. It’s funny how many memories this brings up from my childhood.
I love the baby questions it was so interesting to finally discover the process of how that all works and finally I'm offered an answer in connection to one of my favourite franchises.

I hate how every other reporter always ask Dolph Lungren about sending Sylvester to the hospital. It was nice to see a different question asked.
That's because he is a "fan" first before he's a critic/reporter!🤔
