I get not playing the game anymore because of topku, but it was literally the same thing in set 1 with green broly and gohan. There’s many tools in set 2 to counter topku, players just haven’t adapted yet the set hasn’t been out for 3 weeks
As a new player on bandai tcg games and irl tcg games this is kind of scary just play the same deck if you want to win, i will love to see at least one top tier deck for each color hope bandai do better next time.
You hit the nail on the end, Bandai does not learn from past mistakes. This also confirms my theory about Masters the past 3-4 years too that they do not properly test their game when designing sets. If they did test their game properly, or if they bother to learn from past mistakes, this would not be happening again. I'm so happy I didn't go to NC now after seeing the results from The Lookout earlier, I wanted to play Cell but I will wait for now.
Same here, Blew too much money to build Cell and revamp Broly, and now seeing just how toxic Topku is, I just lost all will to play Fusion anymore in paper, and in the client until a hit or ban is brought forth. As in the PC client, all it will be is Topku every match and boring as all hell.
Dont get me wrong, Top goku is a huge problem, but its unfortunate we cant see the decklists of players who didnt top, since we cant know for sure if its because the deck is fundamentaly broken, or people just didnt try hard enough to counter it.
Unfortunately, that's exactly the one point that absolutely destroys games like this for me. 80% only Broly now TopKu. What's fun about that? So they lose me and some friends. I'm wondering if I'll still support set 2 at all
Idk bro, beerus , starter ku, and frieza were making things pretty equal as far as topping events went in fb01. Im sure they’ll hit kefla and that will settle things down in this format
The leader needs an errata but bandai doesn't do that and they don't typically move fast on bans. I mean it took them 3 sets for beard but they were faster with saka only 2 sets. I hope they ask the question how much are we going to be able to sell of set 3 if they don't have to build a new deck because this deck is currently just more powerful then anything else we can print. Also blue does kind of worry me, I don't like decks that play with the cost of cards, seems like a dangerous hill to start rolling down.

well, apparently for NC, only 25 other decks were unique. so there's not much to see
an errata to kefla would be fine. make it so that she cant be played by skills, like that she dont have to be limited
