I First saw Kiss on the Destroyer Tour in 76, Germany. A small place, 2000 seater, and I was deaf 3 days after. Later, when I was playing Guitar for some time and after all the " Sport -Guitar", I got more and more stuck to His playing and tone.....to me, He was the Joker in Kiss and His Playing was the icing on the cake
10,000 volts is an epic release from Ace! Very catchy very sing-along ish. I file myself singing the songs even when I'm just walking around the house and I don't even have the CD on, it's an amazing release. Very impressed by this album. From Ace frehley! I got the vinyl and the CD. Now I'm going to Walmart to get the other version
I'm so sorry. I only just realized that you asked if there was vinyl. Yes, there are a lot of different variants on vinyl, but I have not bought any of them. Love you guys too!
It’s a good album. 7/10 for me. Stand out tracks: 10,000 Volts, Cosmic Heart, Back Into My Arms Again, Fightin’ For Life, Up In The Sky. It’s not better than Space Invader, I’m still deciding if it’s better than Anomaly and Spaceman, have to live with it a little bit longer.
Back in your arms again used to be called Ecstacy when Ace was playing it back in the early 80's in live sets while trying to get a deal post kiss. Their was a demo of it floating around since 1983, he finally recorded it😅
Back into my arms again is such a great song. Caught me big time. Was released as a demo in 84 right? So glad he put it out now... my fav off the album. 10k volts good catchy tune. Fightn for life good too. 7/10 for me. Definitely gonna buy his vinyl.
Correct. The demo was from 1984. The singing on the demo is definitely better in my opinion. The title track and Fighting for Life are definitely good tracks as well. Thanks for stopping in, Tyler.

@@cooperst765 Always liked Spaceman ever since it came out. There a few tracks that I still listen to today. It’s not his best but it’s pretty good. A step down from Space Invader though which I think is his top 3.

Walmart doesn't stock CDs anymore here. Made me sad. Their movie selection is waaaayy smaller too. Not much reason for me to go to Walmart anymore, music and movies used to be my favourite reasons for a visit to Walmart.

Well, leave it to Frehley to create yet another Dumpster Fire. This might have been slightly interesting if we could all climb in to a DeLorean and travel back to 1980. Frehleys guitar work, his music arrangements and his lyrical writing abilities have never improved. This latest lackluster attempt doesn't Shock Me at all. When will everyone come to their senses and realize that Frehleys Rocket Ride is over. And here's just a side note. Don't you find it strange that for countless years, he's publicly accused his former band mates of going for the Quick Cash Grab, with merchandise and over branding. Yet isn't Ace doing the exact same thing right now? Limited Editions and Limited pressings, tossing in a little color here and there. These lame attempts to create excitement around this release with Variant covers and silly little posters scream the 80's. After all these years Frehley still believes his own B.S. that he's a relevant influential force in the industry. You can only Survive on hype and old war stories for so long. In some Strange Ways, Ace just doesn't get it.
I'll have to side with Paul on this one... Ace was great back in the day, but "failed to blossom." There's nothing impressive about a 70 year old, one trick pony, that acts like a shadow of his 27 year old self. Without wasting any time to hear more, shooting from the hip, I'll guess Rocket Ride was his last cool song.
@cooperst765 I listen to Music..If good.( Ace guaranteed this album was better then the 78 solo lp..He said this album would make Paul & Gene look like idiots..Which didn't influences my opinion, it just aroused my curiosity..As a musician myself, I knew ace doesn't have the talent to back-up his own words. As far as your comment to me..Do As you feel brother..Your threats of blockage is beta & laughable..Grow-up..The album should be called 10 volts..Weak & Lacks Soul

It's great. But all the hype of going back to his roots is what's lacking.
Even with just 30 second snippets I can tell I'm actually gonna like this album! Is it 78's Ace? No, but it sounds pretty good to me!
