If these 401s feel as buttoned up as the discontinued 701, I would much prefer these to the Triumph 400s. I recently tested a Triumph Speed 400 and was not impressed.
Not sure what they were trying to accomplish. Vitpilen was great for riders who preferred sporty, cafe racer style bike with clip-ons over comfortable commuter that is Svartpilen. Now they're basically the same bike so why even have 2 models instead of just one
As soon as I can get my hands on one, you'll have a review. The catch is that it was delayed in coming to Canada, and then the overall shipment to Canada was drastically cut. I'm told it could still be a couple months out before my local dealer sees one.
I'm at the moment shopping for my first bike (a2), and the Svartpilen 401 was one of my top choices... until I started researching KTM. The entire camshaft story is a massive red flag for me, and I'm not trusting anyone from the Pierer Group after reading that ongoing story.
You are so underrated, good job sir keep it up, I really like your effort to bring us a detailed perspective.
Thanks for watching!

Great review ❤ but there should be an option of tyre swapping or tubeless tyres should be there to avoid tyre puncture related pain.
Great review, I have the 2024 Svartpilen 401 and I love it.
4:26 i'd be very interested to see a full review of that Yamaha Tuareg you speak of ! :)
Haha. Tenere. Whoops!!
Would love to see a video of the same style comparing the triumph speed 400 vs the scrambler 400
What are the benefits of tubed tyres as opposed to tubeless tyres please
Does the svartpilem have an option to disable abs?
Fantastic presentation, Peter 👍
Thanks for a Really good 👍 review on these bikes : )

Hi Peter. Interesting bikes - don’t think I’ve ever seen those brands in the UK.
They're using a lot of KTM parts so I wonder if they are available everywhere due to a bit of overlap with the KTM product.
801 please

These bikes have zero hype behind them. They came out years ago and I completely forgot they existed till now
These exact bikes didn't come out years ago. They've been significantly upgraded this year.

Nice 👌👌👌
In India we only get the swartpilen as of now I do like the vitpilen even in this white color
