Another great video. Particularly liking the backhoe work smoothing our with that wide bucket. 👌 😊

Thank you Steve, levelling out the stone to form a good solid base, I enjoyed doing it with the classic 3CX 💪👍

@PSExcavationsLLC gotta be done hasn't it with a classic like that. I used to love watching them on sites in the 90's.

Had to remember my schoolboy Spanish for this one😆Excellent work with the front bucket spreading that stone. How do you work the edges? I find its all to easy to have too much or too little near the kerbs which obviously I don't want to hit with the bucket, so find myself using the back end for the detail work - but keep thinking if I worked the material the right way with the front bucket I shouldn't have this problem too much.
Tidy Kerbing too, you have to get yourself a kerb lifter, even if its to save poor Claire's gloves! I got a cheap one off eBay that picks up from each end and it makes it so much easier for both of you. Honestly been a great bit of kit to own although can sit in the shed for months sometimes between jobs. You could probably knock one up from some scrap lying around, they aren't complicated things. Looking forward to the next video 👍

Hey Ollie! Thanks for your continued support 😊 We are getting viewers from Spanish speaking countries, so we are doing a Spanish commentary version as well as an English one. Well done for watching the Spanish version!👍
As for stoning up I start by roughly spreading the stone, leaving it high and 2-3 feet away from the kerb. Then using the open 4 in 1, I start finishing, using the rear blade of the bucket. With the front part, pushing as in the video. When close to the desired level I get closer to the kerb (I find it easier to look and use the right hand side of the bucket) and use the windrows to fill closer to the kerb but not touching. A quick fettle with a shovel down the kerb edge if needed, and the roller will then finish the job. It's really hard to explain.... 😕
We don't usually do many kerb laying jobs, but looking back at this job maybe we should have hired one! 😂 Claire enjoyed it though and it's something we would do more of in future.

Thanks Darren. She enjoyed laying the curbs and what a difference it made to the job. We were both happy to see the last one go in thou!! I think it is important to support small business as much as possible, times are very hard, and our government wanting 25% corperate tax and forcing us to use non rebated white diesel really doesn't help this sector. Thanks for watching and your support with our little channel 👍😀
