Mike and Simu (Chairman) have teamed up to put together this 8 Pants Frieren deck utilizing the powerful Trial Deck Frieren finisher package! With the help of the Trial Deck Brainstorm, this deck's endgame can do a lot of resource cheating and create an extremely powerful finisher turn!
There's also a version that uses the RR Frieren from the Booster set, which will we be featuring later on in our gameplay block!

EDITOR NOTE: @ 2:25 I put a Luna 3/2 on screen as that was a card I associated closely with Standby, completely forgetting that she is Lv0 on stage. Please do not try to use the Sour Grapes Event on Luna LMAO
Was originally going to use Nino 3/2 from set 3 but then pivoted away since it's not used in EN Nino decks, and this was the next card that came to mind. Oops.

Great video! It's been nice seeing different profiles using either the booster or td finisher. It's also cool that this one can incorporate zoltraak, since it's so expensive and the finisher can be cheap stock wise.
I've been seeing a lot of deck profiles opt to not run the heiter anti change, including this one. Just wondering if there is further reason to not use it? Is it because frieren has the adachi and the bouncer to use offensively against early plays or there's just no room?
Been really enjoying the frieren content. It's also so nice to see Mike and Simu's love come through for the series :)
The Adachi is a more cost efficient way to answer early plays especially since it coincidentally helps win another lane. It’s not super important for Frieren to have an antichange since one the most important matchups to have antichange, Nazarick, is hard countered by 0/0 Fern. In general most of the time it’s more worth saving resources for your endgame.

Hi! I like the list, is more or less the way i was thinking on playing it. I have a question though, since the lvl1 red counter is an event, dont you have color issues to play It consistently?
Yes, you’ll need to keep track of red by levelling a Fern L0 when possible. It’s also fine to clock/level the event itself; you only ever salvage one copy off of multiple fern combos on a given turn, and the rest should be Flight Magics.
Certain variants play even less red, opting to only run 4 copies of the red event and looking to level one. Either way works, but we feel the Fern L0 is too strong to give up.
@TressasCollectibles yes i also think that Fern RR lvl0 is incredibly strong for this build. I'll give It a go and see how It goes, thanks!
im looking to build a frieren series deck as a beginner, is it better to get this or 8 books deck. considering both cost and in complexity
The 8 book deck is less complex and cheaper than the 8 pants variant, so I would recommend that if you’re newer to the game
