Did it come with that red small USBC cable? Just wondering because that's a cable from OnePlus that comes with their headphones when you buy them lol just wierd that they threw in a phone brand cable if it is the one it came with.
I know it's late but that's what I just noticed too I have that cable it came with some OnePlus earbuds I got with my phone when I got it😂 it's kinda weird if they actually threw that cable in the kit.
I wonder if I can attach this to a walmart board. Me staring at the 75 inch coastal surf to street board. (I won't disgrace you I swear) : card in my hand.
Love u guys, your videos are always educational, interesting and inspiring. Just please stay away from these pre-built kit trashscams. we should encourage new members to the community to buy complete boards that are at a fraction of this price point! this is no more than a $400 value disguised with the luxury to swap decks. new members, buy a COMPLETE prebuilt for literally less money and if you hate the deck,,, buy another deck for $100 tops.
I do think that there is value in some of these kits as some people do like them! Definitely not a great value for the specs. We will cover this is the full review
Kits are better for beginners than prebuilds maybe the value is less but as a beginner you can experiment with all kids of decks and find your ideal setup so you can buy a good second board that you like instead of buying 4 boards just to find out you don’t like one off them. And I personally have the revel kit and I like the feature off swapping deck when I’m traveling I put a short deck on it and when I’m home I ride a longdeck. And kits are also good for personalizing on my kit you can put all kinds of wheels and decks and you can use two off them. Also a kit gets you interested in building your own board. Prebuilds aren’t that good most look the same just a hub longboard 36-38 inches 90 mm wheels the same 144watt battery cheap skate components the same remote and hobbywebsite esc and pretty much everyone who starts with a board like that upgrades to a new board and that’s not the case with a kit there you can upgrade the wheels deck maybe diy a better battery or new motors on it.
Hub? Gosh let's all move to direct drive already and throw away the hub type..ride comfort isn't there. Secondly, $600? Ehhh... Sorry, but for value for dollar. Might as well buy a meepo board then dismount everything into another board. You have to really separate yourself when selling hub motors... They're almost all the same these days. That's why I always suggest being the bigger seller in direct drive motors. It's just a much better design.
agreed that $600 is a disrespectful price point for something that will only get you 12 miles. it isn’t even a complete board. my meepo mini 2 cost $40 more and can get me 8 more miles of range and comes with an actual deck to uhhh stand on!! these “pre-built” kits are a joke.
@@kitten3461 Agreed. I would love for Meepo to switch to direct drive. They have a good reputation already and I would say that they have the resource and capital to get into direct drive motors. I mean, they are in China wear it can be sourced and made cheaper. They are a win/win country lol. Back to the story, still waiting on an affordable direct drive board!
@@kitten3461 kits have a place this kit isn’t that good but the revel kit is. With a kit you can change between short board and longboard instead if buying two boards
@@sharky1854 direct drive is relatively new so they are expensive. i will admit that the revel kit is better than this kit solely for ride feel. however, the revel kit underperforms tremendously with a maximum 15 miles and measly 20% hill grade at a whopping $700. i personally have a set of direct drive motors that costed $350 but they have a combined 3000 watts of power which can achieve a 35% hill grade and are very reliable, therefore, making the revel kit look like a joke. anybody with a brain and thumbs can take apart an enclosure and apply it to another deck. i appreciate your input because i love talking about this stuff but i completely disagree with you 🍻
You have the only video that shows how to swap the battery. Thanks
do a review on the revel kit that one is direct drive and way easier to put on your deck and the specs are better for around the same price
first he needs to probably contact revel so they can send him the products to review
@@JSVibes or he can buy them
Great Vid. You might consider countersinking those mounting holes.
Great suggestion!
the hub motors they use are actuslly hobbywing hub motors which are the same as the ones backfire, exway and lycaon use
That is really good to know!
Can you do a review of the Flipsky VX3 remote along with a comparison between the V2 as well?
It's in the works right now!
Very nice setup
Thanks
It's a cool kit but hopefully they eventually use a swappable pack like on their new 8.7ah belt model.
there is a swappable battery on these
@@DIYesk8Builders the new swappable one is more weatherproof, like a drop-in pack
Awesome & Thanks :)

Yeah, the Revel kit is honestly a better option.
we will have to test it!
Yes it is
@@DIYesk8Builders Go straight for the extended range kit.
can you review the new board beast board relased? Its called Beast Board Apache
We will see!
2:00 Is that a OnePlus USB C cable???

Upload more!!

You can attach this to almost anything!
Would you know if the wheel sleeves would fit on A backfire G3 or Exway Hub Flex?
I am not sure.
@@DIYesk8Builders would you happen to own any of those and can try those on?? I'm in need of 96mm sleeves for my exway Asap
Unfortunately we don't own either. Did you try asking on the forum?
Will it fit 10s2p 21700 battery?
I think it may, but I am not sure. I would email them to ask
