Just bought a 91 sport for 250$. Hasn't ran in 16 years, but its complete. Shouldn't take much to get it running again. Even has the original recall Firestone tires on it. Gonna keep the rims and sell the rest whole I think.
Rev'd Garage Oh yea it was certainly interesting driving a 25 year old truck that far. It’s been getting restored and will get fresh paint this spring.
I have a 1994 Ford Explorer XLT 5-door which I bought at an auction. The cost was $700 the winning bid an the total amount was $850 with $150 in fees. Mine is fully loaded with all the toys on it.
I think that's a 72 c20 that you have also love it dad had the 68 c20 I had the 1970 C10 and I also like the 91 Ford explorer I'm looking at the 91 Ford explorer four-door automatic with the push button for wheel drive Eddie Bauer addition for only a grand that ain't bad it looks cherry no dents no dents no rust out here in the desert I like it
I have a maroon 91 explorer that I’m lifting for better clearance and doing some overland camping. Mine has red interior that is impeccable 👍🏻 and a 4.0 with a 4 speed!
I've had 2 5 speed explorers, both 4 doors, 1st one in high school and the 2nd one a couple years later with 6 inch lift and 33s. They were both kinda shitty, but fun vehicles with a lot of good memories in both. I traded the 2nd one for a squarebody chevy (still have it 5 years later) I'm sold on Chevy trucks now, but I have a soft spot for these old 5 speed explorers 🙌

They’re great cars, I have 2 myself. Picked up my ‘93 Eddie Bauer in Wichita and drove it back to Toronto in 2018
That's awesome! I bet the drive was an adventure from Wichita to Toronto.

Dang! That thing has a lot going for it especially the 5spd.
The 5sp and 4wd sold me on it.

I own and daily drive a 2002 Ford Explorer 2 door 4WD 5 speed!
And those 4wd hubs always pull off when you take the wheel off
That's the ford explorer I would go for!
