Beautiful truck there, I'm jealous of how good of condition the body's in. I got a '94 XLT myself, I've been slowly working to turn back the years it endured in New Jersey.
So excited to see this. I have a red '94 sport with the 5-speed trans. Mine runs nice too, only 151000 miles. But did sit outside for 5 years. Would not start. Had towed to a local 4x4 shop. He called me and said it wasn't the starter. It was the air conditioning compressor frozen. It wouldn't allow engine to turn. Never heard of this. He replaced the compressor new serpintine belt new battery and cables. Started up and it runs good. Now on to the suspension . Obviously I will watching and liking. There is a lot of surface rust on frame and difs and suspension components. Is a por 15 kit good for this. I want the truck to look brand new bottom to top. Sorrow for long post but I love my 2-door 4x4
Just bought one of these for 250 bucks. Hasn't ran in 16 years. I don't plan to restore it, but I'll be putting the rims on another explorer I own, and I think I'll part it out. Maybe sell as a whole, since it's complete.
@@budgetfix711 it most certainly does. And I believe it's still intact if I remember correctly. The original owner parked it because the motor had a bad knock. Has less than 100k miles. I think it'll make some old explorer junky pretty happy. If I had the extra dough I'd restore it. It'd be a nice project.
@@TheRealNoxxus the stuff that I've had to do was surprisingly inexpensive, but I haven't had to do any major motor work. If I was to do any motor work I believe I would throw a 302 in it.
This is exactly what my first car at 15 looked like :) ❤❤❤
My favorite suv ever. Nice find
Thank you.

If it has the center fold down console you can sell that in a heartbeat, those are one of the first things that break.

Where are you based? I might be interested in it if you're willing to let go of it for about what you paid.
