"I can fix that, good thing I have a soldering iron" made me laugh out loud. Very nice full review. The best parts are the Q.C. of the internals of the unit. Very honest, very good.
Aways enjoy the reviews and seeing how they stack up inside. That's a good point you made on the ground wire that wasn't there. Some day I need to get a proper station for detailed soldering jobs the old Weller dose the job but a little to big for delicate solder joints.
I bought a TOAUTO DS90 Soldering Station off of Amazon. Not a really good station but for the little soldering I do it's okay. The Temperature Control is very erratic. But what do you expect from a $55.00 soldering station!!
I am trying to find your email address but nothing is popping up in your description and was wondering if can get it. My husband has a gm instrument cluster that wanted to see if can send it to you
DANGEROUS GROUNDING. Please add a 1M ohm resistor to that ground tag before connecting it to the PCB/solder iron. There are at least two good reasons for this. 1. Protect the electronics you are working on from high ESD currents. (The resistor limits the discharge current of any static voltage buildup). 2. Personal safety. In case of a ground fault on your AC supply, you can get "high" voltage and current thru your fingers or body (a resistor will greatly reduce the current).

Always a pleasure to see your videos pop up!
I am glad to see what they did inside the base, and that it was fixable.
Best channel ever, i love watching your repairs

I’m highly motivated to learn how to do this myself. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I don't want to think about my wand, I just chucked the thing. Words to live by
Thanks Mate for the review, the extra iron comes in handy.
The lack of ground is... interesting 😂 still seems very serviceable overall.
Good practical review providing purchase decision input. Thanks
I've been looking to pick one up with the hot air and the T12 iron.
Cool video
Thank you for sharing your findings on this station so far.
Wonder what they will give away.
Congrats!
It's like every other tool from China, you have to take it apart and rebuild before use. I always replace hair-thin wires with beefier ones.
Did you think of swooping the hand pieces? One seemed larger than the other so it might better in the larger holder built into the base station.
I tried one of the hand pieces in my KSGER station and it was not compatible. But I did switch to my other stand holder and that worked better.
Looks like a decent setup, thanks for the vid.
Love your review videos
