thanks for the video. I bought this one myself. I actually replaced the metal filter with a regular filter. Yeah, the holder is a piece of shit. But the pump is quite powerfull. The nozzle, although it is heated with a T12 heating element, takes quite a while to heat up. There is a lot of metal connected to it, and this takes time to come to temperature. And my experience is that the the tube clogs when you do not take that time. The hand pieces is not very comfy with the wires and tube being the in the way. But it works.
Yes, I agree. The metal tip and metal for mine started getting blue from the heat. It's not the greatest de-soldering station but for the price I guess its ok. I wish I had a JBC or Hakko but the price for those is way higher for my use.
