UA-cam got that algorithm. I always recommend people start here first since there is a space for every type of content
f**k the algorithm, keeps you stuck with the same content creators and in the same niche of content. Always have to delete watch history after a couple days or if my gf watched on my TV because after watching one or two videos of the same topic, the whole home page is plastered with the same content and the same dedicated content creators. It sucks, you rarely get anything new or good recommended, it's the same recipe all the time.

This has me thinking for sure. I am new to streaming on Twitch for a hobby, and atm, don't have any desire to worry about YT vids, but utilizing the streaming aspect of YT sounds interesting to me. It has so much to offer a noob like me. I agree that it may be a great place to learn, especially if I am not worried about making other content. (I do post on Tiktok) Thanks for the info, checking it out for sure.
I feel like it depends. Personally I am thinking about streaming (drawing videos mainly) on either Twitch or Kick. I am leaning towards Kick since it might be a good idea to test out a new platform that is rising. But still not sure which of those 2 I'm picking yet. Streaming on UA-cam... I've tried it a few times for about 30 minutes and got 0 views while it was live. And barely got any views overall so I'm not even sure I fully agree with what this guy is saying.

I didn’t see a problem with kick I did my first stream last night for 1 hour and gained 21 followers and had lots of commenters. I felt like that wasn’t too bad. I like kick already

Can’t you stream on kick or twitch and then just upload your stream or parts of your stream to UA-cam and then your growing on both?
I think it would be better if I stay streaming on Twitch over Kick. I make content on Twitch and UA-cam. It would probably make my life harder if I started streaming on Kick. Really, the only way to get discovered more is if you make content.
Which is why I needed to make a UA-cam channel so that I can upload videos and share it all on social media. I still think about trying to stream on UA-cam sometimes.
Twitch’s algorithm is smooth brain AF. The YT algorithm WILL get you out there and get your content in front of people who want to see it. It just takes consistency and the willingness to keep putting out decent content. I don’t personally have time to commit to get there, but of all platforms, YT is hands down the best for new streamers.
As long as you discover a payment method. Then ll't pave the way... you have great advice though!

I just started my Twitch channel a couple days ago. I’ve spent the majority of my time YouTubing how to use it…and that alone was enough for me to delete my Twitch.
Except UA-cam has a broken algorithm and if you stream on youtube it will stop pushing your new videos into algorithm.

This happen to me twice. The two times I streamed on YT the next two videos did really low and notice it wasn’t getting out. I stopped streaming on YT and notice the videos starting to get views again. So I believe this
@@JaeYeucrazy, and you've got an audience too so you probably know what you're talking about, it's a shame that most new people to this, like myself, depend on the algorithms of the platforms... work pays off tho and i believe the more you do the more you get, but of course we also sometimes don't have a chance when it's up to the platform if it wants to push us forward or not.

I tried streaming on twitch, still havent hit affiliate and kinda stepped back; many told me to change to kick but idk…but never thought of streaming or going live on youtube
dont go live on yt it messes up your views if u upload and stream at the same time

@@aahxy it does quite the opposite actually... if you understood small details of how viewership worked, you'd understand that making your viewers stay on the same platform for both your live and regular videos\shorts is actually very valuable
the newbs are bringing new people onto the platform and then the top streamers are getting all those likes follows subs and long term viewers :P
I dont watch Poki, from what ive read the "broke boy" comment was said to a troll in her chat that kept egging her on so she responded as a joke to that troll. As far as the cookie price, yeah its over priced, but its just as over priced as some snacks seen at whole foods. They have keto cookies 4 to 5 oz at $8 to $9 which comes to the same price at Pokis. Its an issue that got blown out of proportion mainly because its a big streamer and yeah as you said marketed wrong. But really anyone that has paid attention to "health" cookies is they are all over priced and cheat meal crumble is better than those tasteless healthy ones
Dude if the twitch views ain't the truth. I was just checking my chat last time I streamed and was super confused on why there were 15 people in my chat, but Twitch said I only had one viewer.
These are two different metrics, the list it gives you when you click on community are people who stopped by and viewed or stream. Whether they left or stayed, the 1 viewer is the viewer that continues to stream and watch. The list are people who showed up and left, hope this helps.
tiktok is cool way to promote your self
All the youtubers i know moved to twitch and are saying ''it's better there''. Maybe they make more money,idk. Gets me kinda pissed,cuz i really dont have time to watch 5hr stream instead of an edited 30 min video .

Facebook is actually better to stream on nowadays… not as profitable but better for getting a following to other streams or social media
It's really simple. Most people (give me a %) don't like to watch people live streaming. It's just a fact. That's why millions , 10's of millions go to UA-cam EVERYday to watch videos, shorts whatever. On top of that , YT has live streaming. It's just not great for live streaming but is king on everything.
Had to add my streaming account, and say, I just don't care for Kick atm.
So a year or so ago FB was good for all of those things. HOWEVER that ship has sailed. YT is about it TBH.
Except when they delete your channel for no reason.
TikTok
TikTok is still one of the hardest apps to convert followers into supporters. 1,000 subs on YT is better than 10,000 followers on TikTok and that's a huge red flag.
