Owners ruin sports. Teams should be owned by the fans and the fans should be able to vote for GMs. Revenue should be filtered back into the city. Millionaires and, especially, billionaires are not needed and only make things worse.
More like Oakland will go from being a 1 to a zero without the A's. Anyone with common sense and any sort of business acumen can see why an owner would leave Oakland.
Should the Oakland government be blamed more than the owner? Feel like the government hasn't done enough to build a new stadium to replace the outdated Oakland Coliseum.
This is disgusting. If we had a commissioner with a spine he would stop this and intervene and force the owners to come up with a plan with the city officials to keep the team in Oakland. Or force the owner to sell or drop them out of the league until he does.

Thank you for this video. I do want to correct one thing though. It’s actually looking less and less likely that they’ll end up in Vegas. All the news and developments on the Vegas situation haven’t been going the A’s ownerships way. There have been disputes on whether or not the A’s claims of being able to draw 30,000 fans/night. How much revenue it will generate for the city, etc.. And ultimately they’re learning that if you go around demanding things from cities and acting entitled to taxpayers money that it pisses a lot of people off. It comes down to Fisher’s background. He was born in Silicon Valley with a silver spoon in his mouth. How did he build upon his fortune? California real estate. The man has not earned a dime in his life and it shows in every decision he makes.
Well the Nevada Senate did pass the bill for the stadium deal, so they’re unfortunately making progress in Vegas. But that doesn’t mean it’s completely over. There’s still some things that can keep the A’s in Oakland where they belong.
Wrong. Senate voted yes yesterday, assembly voted yes today, vote now goes back to senate. I love the A's, but they are more likely than not Vegas-bound. Unsure about you, but that won't stop me from being a fan. I'm a fan of the team. Don't care about the city of Oakland.
@@AntonyYTube they could still pull the bill. Additionally, the amount is way lower than the A’s were asking for. They already had to move their stadium site. The skepticism over whether or not they can deliver on their promises are mounting. I’m not saying it’s looking like they’ll stay in Oakland, it’s just looking less and less likely they’ll be in Vegas as time goes on relative to where it had been over the last year or so. @Belly_Beane
@@AntonyYTube I will no longer be a fan if this ownership team moves them to Vegas. Maybe that could change when/if they sell, but probably not. My family have been Oakland baseball fans for over 100 years and the way this ownership group have treated their fans and the city, I just can’t bring myself to give them any of my time or money.
I went through it with the Sonics relocation. I remember someone saying something along the lines of “why would you continue to go to a restaurant when you know the cook is spitting in your food?”
The Vegas move needs to happen imo, Cali has 5 mlb teams and Nevada has none, Oakland is sharing a market with the Giants who are much more successful and historic, the new stadium deal isn’t going to happen, and Oakland is a declining city while the Vegas area is booming and has 2 successful relocation/expansion teams already.
As a Blue Jays fan I support A's fans 100%. I remember the days of Henderson, Canseco, McGwire, Eckersley, and Stewart. One of the most formidable teams of that era.
I went to a Oakland A’s game 2 years ago, I’m from the Los Angeles area (Dodger fan) I go to Dodger and Angel games. Oakland fans are the most passionate fans I have ever been around, A’s fans love their team and city, the owner has ruined this once proud franchise, so sorry to the city of Oakland and all the A’s fans.
The A’s are a lot better of a franchise that what is perceived around the MLB. They have a rich history and a lot of notable players that went on to the Hall of Fame. If you think the fans were the issue, you have no idea what’s really going on.
This Braves fan is with you Oaktown fans 100%! I always liked the A's, especially the "Bash Brothers" years. On a side note, hands down, the best uniforms in the game (the kelly greens are really nice!) 👍👍👍
Schott was the same, the owner in the 70s who let Reggie walk. No wise businessman would endlessly lose money with no prospect of at least breaking even ( that isn’t how the wealthy get or stay that way. From the Schott/Beane era, it has been moneyball, which was actually about finding cheap players with several years of team control who they might be able to sell for more later or trade for more young players in their years of servitude. In the eras of Alderson and Larussa, there was bigger spending and bigger fan returns win or lose. Every owner faces the same harsh reality on revenue sources: small TV revenue, diminishing ticket sales and shares when going on the road, advertising in the stadium (which prices and demand are driven by ticket sales to marketing reps), regional success by the Giants who draw fans to their games at the same time, and on and on). So they face a choice each year: make an actual run by investing money they will likely lose and never recover or just get by and take the MLB consolation revenue sharing like so many other teams do. Even the Steinbrenners no longer pour their personal wealth into their team endlessly, and that isn’t even an option for Fisher, whose net worth is tied up in plummeting GAP ownership.
As an A's fan the one constant over the years is horrible, miserly, greedy ownership but the current one is the worst which says a lot considering Charlie Finley was one of those.
As a season ticket holder of the A's, this is how I boycott Fisher's A's. I attempt to sell my tickets so that another individual who wants to go can attend and not pay the A's for a ticket. If a ticket to a game doesn't sell then I attend to support the players. HOWEVER, I use Bart to get to the game, bring my own food and drink and spend no money at the game. Hence, Fisher gets no additional income from me and still has to paid for security at the game and clean up the area where I sit. Fisher won't get another dollar from my wallet.

@@woobackwednesday2299 I agree (though I've watched every Baseball Bitz ever made). I like it. I enjoy it. I just feel a little embarrassed about the fact that I like it so much. Professional teams don't move because of a lack of fans. I understand how Oakland fans feel, I'm an Expos fan and believe me baseball season isn't any easier almost 20 years later
That line of thinking at the start is reversing cause and effect basically The team ain't moving from oakland because the fans are not attending to games. The fans stopped attending because the team has been progressively abbandoning them

One thing I haven’t heard mentioned and is that most A’s fan are actively boycotting the team. Hence the reverse boycott. That is why the attendance numbers have been so bad the last two years. We know how to support a mediocre lineup. We are fed up with this owner.
I will also add that the thing that hurt the most recently was the team ditching Bob Melvin. The team suffered with terrible managers for so long like Att Howe, Ken Macha and worst of all Bob Geren. Bob Melvin was a good manager and the team let him walk. That showed 100% the team didn’t want to win games let alone make it to the playoffs.

Rickey Henderson was stealing bases and giving opponents sleepless nights. #ManOfSteel
Jose Canseco & Mark McGwire were crushing bombs out of the yard. #BashBrothers
A competitive team in the American League West every decade.
The late Vida Blue is turning in his grave at what's become of this once-powerful franchise.
The Elephant logo on the A's jersey is fitting because they have always been a Traveling Circus
KANSAS CITY
PHILADELPHIA
OAKLAND
next playing in LAS VEGAS 😊
Also there was Oakland Athletics fan/ UA-camr attending the Sell the Team Chants
Owners ruin sports. Teams should be owned by the fans and the fans should be able to vote for GMs. Revenue should be filtered back into the city. Millionaires and, especially, billionaires are not needed and only make things worse.
Thank you for highlighting the fans! This team will be nothing without the Oakland fan base.
More like Oakland will go from being a 1 to a zero without the A's.
Anyone with common sense and any sort of business acumen can see why an owner would leave Oakland.
How can you not get emotional about baseball ❤️
Should the Oakland government be blamed more than the owner? Feel like the government hasn't done enough to build a new stadium to replace the outdated Oakland Coliseum.
In the A's defense Oakland is a awful city and California is an awful state.
Thank you for this. One of the best explanations I’ve seen and providing good context for the situation.
This is disgusting. If we had a commissioner with a spine he would stop this and intervene and force the owners to come up with a plan with the city officials to keep the team in Oakland. Or force the owner to sell or drop them out of the league until he does.
thank you for making this video! i've been an A's fan and it has been tough for a while to say the least. we're subjected to Fisher and Kaval being confrontationally indifferent when it comes to listening to the fans, so this video describing the passion of A's fans is refreshing.
thanks iTalk
I grew up a Raiders and A’s fan. I just graduated college and got a job with the team. I dreamed of someday raising children going to A’s and Raiders games in the East Bay. It’ll never happen. I’ll be the oldhead telling my kids about “back in the day”. The teams I love are gone, and there’s nothing I can do to get them back
Dont forget the Warriors
Got Roots!
Sorry about that man. Oakland deserves another sports team.
Manfred doesn’t care about the fans
It's easy to be a fan when a team is doing well. I feel sad for these fans, they have been spit on by ownership at every turn.
As an former expos fans you guys have all my support !!
It broke my heart how Montreal lost their team. It's more hurtful imagining what could have been in 1994.
That's rough mate. Thanks for supporting the green and gold one time. :-) I miss the Expos, definitely a cool team. I play older baseball games just to see their team and stadium.
Do you follow the Nationals at all? Or think of them as your de facto team? That had to be a real kick in the gut to watch them pack up and leave.
@@TheFaithfulAtheist lol no dude I don't follow them, after all these years I just don't care.....but yes If I see them play and just what the other team to win against them, every single team no matter which one 🤣. And of course I respect the nats fans they are not responsible, I don't want the nationals to die just because I don't want their fans to know the same thing as me. But only people who saw their team die can understand...so A's fans can understand. If there's a miracle and the athletics stay in Oakland I will be happy for them.
The A's are Oakland. Plain and simple. Even if they move they'll be The Oakland A's to me forever.
Said someone once in Philadelphia and once in Kansas City.
@@TheMighty-gs2cc All 13 seasons in Kansas City, just passing through
@@michaelleroy9281 Kansas City had 12yr olds ball fans when they left.
Clowns supported a trash Raiders team for YEARS but wouldnt support the A's when they were the role models of the league. Everybody except the Mets are doing what the A's did back then
Another banger video from Italk 💪
Sincerely hope Fischer will cho.e on his ffffing money and the entire move from Oakland Athletics to las vegas pathetics.
Reminds me of the last home game of the Seattle Super Sonics.
I know I say this like almost every video of yours but, YOU ARE THE G.O.A.T🐐🔥🔥
Been waiting for this video
Fisher is doing a page by page copy of what Stan Kroenke did to the St. Louis Rams.
In just a matter of a few years, we lost the raiders and the A’s. I’m done with both of them. I’m from the Bay Area. Born and Raised. Why would i support my ex and her new marriage out of state? Wtf? 😂😂😂😂
I have never heard of a reverse boycott until this point. This is special, and should be talked about with historical context.
For years the A’s asked for help to fix the problems they had and the city/locals did nothing but complain about them wanting money 😂😂😂it’s too late to care now 🤷♂️🤡’s
Yep, brain dead apes.
Why you delete the cubs Dansby Swanson video?
Because he was biased and forgot major facts
I REALLY wish this same thing would happen in the RG among us RipCity faithful. Just get the damn point across to Jody Allen and company to GTFO. LOVE this kind of important, impactful pettiness by A's fans to make a few major points, and those points also be the proof. That's how you do it.
great job for the team for leaving a dump of a city
from a giants fan, baseball isn’t baseball without Oakland.
As a Mets fan and years of disappointment. It’s really sad to see this happen to another team. That final pitch June 13th tho felt electric
As a former St Louis Rams fan, I feel for the A's fans. You deserve better than a greedy owner who doesn't care about you or the city and their amazing fans! Know that their is a city full of former Rams fans that understand you and have your back! We did everything we could to keep the Rams in St Louis but Kroenke didn't give a crap and only saw dollar signs. He spit on the entire fan base and the city of St Louis. Seeing what you're going through is painful to watch! You deserve better than this! I know it's not much but I appreciate you! God bless you all!
This was beautifully done by the fans and this video does it justice go A’s
That's awesome! Oakland fans - you rock!
Except the A’s tried to buy the land in 2019 to redevelop the area and keep the team there.
You left out an important piece too. The Fisher's expecting the fans to buy him a new stadium.
Lifelong bay area resident, A's fan sense 72/73. Raiders fan from 1969 to present. Tired of seeing sports teams bail on loyal fans like this. It's horrible at best.
Very well said. Thank you
Thank you for this video.
@Oak what evidence do you have for them being less likely to go to Vegas?
Crazy how the A’s gave up two great 3rd baseman to the Blue jays (I know Josh sucks but he was good at the time)
Josh is heating up again, best of luck from a Pirates fan.
@@TheLegoBattlebotsLab LOL!!! Uh, no, Josh is not heating up again whatsoever. He's batting under .200. He is awful. Maybe you were joking???
And Semien as well lol
@@deaconfrost6229 He was showing signs of life, but he basically has fallen off a cliff since
Well done, dude!
As a Braves fan This makes me feel glad we lost the series to them they deserve much better than this
MLB should punish actions like this tearing the team down to the core just to piss the fans off and move the team else where
I went through it with the Sonics relocation. I remember someone saying something along the lines of “why would you continue to go to a restaurant when you know the cook is spitting in your food?”
@@WestCoasting206Glad a Sonic fan back in 08 on a video when he cursed the thunder and it became real
If you love your team you should show up, win or lose. Especially when the tickets are so cheap. Forgot to mention that, didn't you?
The A’s are a lot better of a franchise that what is perceived around the MLB. They have a rich history and a lot of notable players that went on to the Hall of Fame. If you think the fans were the issue, you have no idea what’s really going on.
I legit don’t understand how people cannot not be subscribed!

Ive really never liked OAKLAND in any Sports until now !!🤔😉🤣🤣😁
COCO CRISP lmaoo that name brings back to many mlb the show memories

On a side note, hands down, the best uniforms in the game (the kelly greens are really nice!) 👍👍👍
This makes me proud to be from Oakland w all the shit we're going thru rn
Not to mention when FA being introduced, the players decided to walk away for who know the reasons why
Your relentless use of the kung fu panda soundtrack has solidified my subscription
As an A's fan the one constant over the years is horrible, miserly, greedy ownership but the current one is the worst which says a lot considering Charlie Finley was one of those.
The owner probably didn't even know there was a game that night and still doesn't know what happened. I always loved that A's logo.
Man. Is it just me or this the "gossip column" version of baseball podcasts? It's a lot of videos of controversial stuff but pretty much nothing to do with stats or anything. Not that it's bad or anything. I enjoy watching it and I'm glad he's got a nitch that none of the other guys seem to do. It does kind of seem like this is the "Tabloid Section" of baseball podcasts though, doesn't it?
Man that’s kinda true, but I think what this channel covers is important if you pay attention to players and what goes on between them. If you just care about the score than these videos are kind of useless, but I’d say for most of us it’s more important than what’s in most tabloids.
We can't all be watching Foolish Baseball all the time, mate. How can you not be romantic about baseball after all?
@@woobackwednesday2299 I agree (though I've watched every Baseball Bitz ever made). I like it. I enjoy it. I just feel a little embarrassed about the fact that I like it so much. It's sort of like seeing something interesting on the cover of National Enquirer and I gotta know what's inside but I really wish it was located in the back of the grocery store so no one can see me actually read it. But it's so interesting I have to read it anyway!
The fun part is a lot of the other outlets will occasionally mention these stories but they obviously try not to talk about them because of the controversy. This is the one place you can go where you know it will almost ONLY be the controversial stories.
STAY IN OAKLAND
Professional teams don't move because of a lack of fans. I understand how Oakland fans feel, I'm an Expos fan and believe me baseball season isn't any easier almost 20 years later
That line of thinking at the start is reversing cause and effect basically
The team ain't moving from oakland because the fans are not attending to games.
The fans stopped attending because the team has been progressively abbandoning them
Absolutely Amazing 😳😅😂😆💯💯💯 Talk about Passionate Fans!!! Just to orchestrate this takes a lot of work, more work then what the ownership team does to make the team competitive
